you can't, you can get banned though

You can't delete your account, and you can't start a new one because it will just get busted as a multi as far as i know

3. I don't want my account anymore, will you delete it?
Once accounts are created they will not be deleted.

Since this query has come up more than just a few times, I'm wondering . . .
will an account be deleted if it remains inactive for an extended period of time?

Nope, it just sits there. If someone wants to come back after an extended vacation, they will have the same stats as they did when they left.

the best thing you can do to close your account is change your email and password to a huge string of random characters.
Then once you log out you can never come back again cause you don't know what your password is and you can't get the reset password email.

this is a good method, although the account is still "there"
