Eighteen players will enter the field to test their might against the world. Only one will prove victorious in an epic tournament stretching across seven continents. Seven maps. Seven continents. Who will be the Slaughterball World Champion?
Official Rules:
Entry is limited to eighteen players. There will be three rounds of play, consisting of seven games total. The players will fight in three groups of six for round one, two groups of six for round two, and one group of six for the final championship game. Groups will be randomly assigned at the start of each round. Each map will be a standard victory with sequential turn order, flat rate card bonuses, chained fortifications, and no fog of war.
Everyone plays in the first round, but further advancement is determined by total points earned per round. You are awarded points based on your finish in each game. To advance to the second round, you must finish in the top four of your group of round one. To advance to the third round, you must finish in the top three of your group of round two. The winner of the third and final round will be crowned Slaughterball Champion and will receive six months of premium membership. If there is a tie in the first two rounds among players (i.e. two fourth-place players) there will be a head-to-head playoff.

Notes:
1) This tournament is open to premium and freemium players, since it only requires one game to play. However, you can only join if you make sure to have one game slot open come tournament time.

6. No formal truces can be announced. Strategic understanding to keep the game balanced and fair should be recognized by all players to prevent any one player from dominating the game.
7. Any suicide attacks will result in a removal from the tournament.
8. Missed turns which equal being kicked from the game will result in being removed from the tournament unless valid reasoning is provided.
9. Deliberately and aggressively trying to remove a player from the game because of placement in the standings is prohibited. This will result in removal from the tournament. All attacks should have a strategic focus as it applies the game at hand only.
