I'm new to the site and am really impressed by all the different maps offered and I look forward to playing them. I just wanted to know if there was one similar to the classic board game.

Classic Art and Classic Shapes have similar gameplay. A few other good starters are USA, Asia, Canada, Artic, British Isles, Africa, Australia, Haiti, France, Ireland, Madagascar, etc. :)

Anyway...classic shapes. I know that many people say classic art, but even though they have identical layout, I still consider classic shapes to be the closest to the original risk board.

It just seems that way to me because when I look at either map in comparison to the original risk board, classic shapes is more visually comparable.
