After months of torture... it comes to this. The final 8 games of this painful clan challenge are about to begin.

Can the Warlords win this set and salvage a bit of dignity, or are they destined to suffer one of the most lopsided losses in CC history?

Only time will tell. Games are filling now and the warlords are drinking. :lol:

This thing had been brutal, but we're going to make it look a lot more respectable in Quads.

So far it might just be a blast of revenge for the Worts, with 2out of 8 won, 2 not started and 4 predicted wins for the worts, will the Dutch just lay down and bask in the glory knowing they have won the war, or will they rally too and take the win home as rightfull winners?

We are trying to get revenge, but it's not working out so well at times. Doesn't matter, one day we will play you Dutch again, and next time the score will be the other way around! 8-)

This is by far the worst defeat the WOTW have ever had, and we are humbled by it. But we also hate to lose and will grow from this humiliating experience.

We are doing a lot better in Quads than we have the rest of the war, that for sure.
I'm thinking maybe I'm to blame for our poor performance, as until the quads win that my team won the other day, every game I have played in during this war we have lost. :oops:

Nope, it wasn't just you vorm. It was all of us. Not only did we all suck, the clan war dragged out into months. I hold myself to blame for that. I had a death in the family and that distracted me from helping to move this along.

The Quads games are a return to the way the Warlords usually play. As for VDLL, well played. You guys capitalized on every mistake and every time the dice didn't work out for us. I'm just sorry that the real Warlords team didn't show up until the last round of games.

My glass is raised. It is time to drink. Is it too early to ask for a rematch?

I believe all the games are complete. The final score is some dismal number like Warlords 14-VDLL 26. I look forward to seeing this thread with it's final score quickly drop off the clan challenges page into obscurity.

Still, the war ended on a good note with Warlords finally winning a bracket. Truth be told, we dug a really deep hole in the singles games, and were never able to recover from it. Well played VDLL. We will lick our wounds and be back for some revenge.

Outstanding fight on the last games, Warlords!
't Was fun playing with fellow drinkers. Remember that the war is now over and we are not enemies anymore.
