I don't care that Twill is gone. He did his job, half the time, however, Hysari's from a fail company. Don't know if I trust a man that fucked up Warhammer that bad, but eh, put his ass to work and lets see what this new toy can do!

Twill is the worst community manager that I have ever had the displeasure to interact with.
I can't imagine anyone, inside cc or out, that could do a more lousy job than Twill. His lack of customer service skills makes me wonder how he was ever able to hold this position for as long as he did. He must be one helluva scam artist.
Anyway, I say good riddance! I can already feel the new positive direction in the air.
I am excited that a change was finally made and I hope nothing but future prosperity for cc and it's community.
I'm withholding judgement for the time being. The biggest problem I've had with CC is that it is reactive to problems rather than proactive and the reaction itself is glacial in its speed. The communication with the customer base from the Admin has always been woefully lacking. I think that Twill was fine as far as it went but splitting the duties is a good idea. OP is a good choice as the Mod coordinator but I worry about the day that he goes off on one of his little rants and claims he's speaking as a player not as an Admin. He never understood when he was a mod that everything he said was weighed as a mod speaking and I fear he will be the same way as an Admin. I think his organizational skills and focus will enhance the moderators in the same way that they did the tournaments during his time as TD. I'm just worried about his typical overreactions and his lack of ability to view things from perspectives other than his own. As for Hysari, clearly none of us know anything about him. I'm torn as to whether I think its wise to bring an outsider in. In some ways its a positive in that such a person won't have preconceived notions, nor will the community have preconceived notions about him, which would be an issue for any of the current mods that could have been elevated to Admin status instead. On the other hand, there are dynamics of CC that need to be recognized. I assume that Hysari is taking this time to get to know the community before diving in but for all I know he's just sleeping. To date he's made 25 posts in his 2+ weeks here which is roughly 2 per day. My own personal opinion is that I'd like to see MORE communication from the Admin staff than has been in the past but I'm not sure that is the mandate from above. Regardless, I'm open to the possibility that this is an improvement.
I was happy to have Twill here. Am not particularly happy to see him go, but most people have to make changes at some point. I wish him the best.
As for the new person ... too soon to tell for sure, but I doubt CC will change in any real way. The changes that will occur are from new maps, etc, not admin changes.
I have been essentially happy with CC (any issues are relatively minor, details and such) and doubt the admin change will make a differance in that.
I didn't like Twill as he ran CC. He is probably a fine person, but seemed very immature and vengeful. (See banning a whole clan, and more recently Owen's weeklong ban for GETTING called the N word). We had quite a few differences, but I wish him the best in his new endeavors.
As for the new guy, I don't think wholesale changes need to be made to CC or its forums. We have a pretty solid community here. Yes some people make jokes, or may throw a flame in the wrong place but there are no serious forum gaffes (like bots or spam or porn) that need to be reconciled. Although a little more porn would be nice, on second thought.
I just hope people are treated with more respect. Smart a** responses while banning people is quite unprofessional. the thought that this was his STRATEGY to run a forum is amazingly bad. (Yes he wrote about it off site.) I see Clapper,Andy,Wacica and others handle problems much better. In fact, my only timeouts have come from Wicked and Twill (aforementioned ban of the whole clan). It seems some people can mod, while others can not. I hope the new guy can.
I also hope the new guy doesn't come in here banning people willy-nilly just to flex his muscles.
nothing wrong with a little bit of man on dog love.
i liked twill a great deal, and still do. i already miss the way he ran things, to a degree. but, i'm going to give the new guys a shot, and i've always liked OP and get along with him, so that shouldn't be a problem. some of the new attitudes and changes i've seen in the forum are kind of questionable. but i guess some people just need to flex their might now that twill is gone. anyway... never had any beef with twill and i thought/think he was a very cool and interesting guy...-0

The Community Manager is now going to be a much more public position - someone who is out there participating in the community, leading our moderators on the front lines, and setting the tone to make Conquer Club a fun and friendly online hangout.
Our awesome new 'Community Manager' is doing an excellent job staying in a public position and participating in the community. Hasn't even posted since March 10th.

Duane: You know what they say about love and war. Tim: Yes, one involves a lot of physical and psychological pain, and the other one's war.
EA / Mythic is known notoriously for having shit customer service, specifically in their MMO "Warhammer: Age of Reckoning". But hey, he might have been one of the 1000 dev's that was fired and is now looking to actually do his job. We'll see.
