So. I've basically heard back from everyone, and...

I got into Johns Hopkins and McGill (and got wait-listed at Brandeis and William and Mary)!!

Just felt like I needed yet another place to toot my horn *toots*

Oberlin College, Oberlin Ohio.

Not yet, my grades are all high enough though and Im expecting too. Took lot of Ap and Honors and they all had As.

Don't get your hopes up, dude.

Trust me. I had my hopes set on a particular Ivy, but got rejected. And the school I ended up going to was a MUCH better match for me. We can talk more in private, if you'd like. PM me.

It's best to keep these things private. There is a lot of anti-Ivy league sentiment out there. People tend to resent Ivy Leaguers, thinking they're "elitists".

Monumental congratulations on the acceptances to McGill and Johns Hopkins, ink. They are both in AWESOME AWESOME cities (some of my favorites in all of North America) and will get you the sort of education that will make you a shoe-in for PhDs.

Which are you leaning towards?

Hey meggy - been a while!

Right now I'm feeling really enthusiastic about Johns Hopkins. They've already sent their financial package, and we'd be paying half of the total $55,000 for tuition a year, which we can afford, so that isn't an issue. So unless I have a change of heart it's looking like I'll be going to Hopkins.

I've jsy heard that my neice is planning to go to Ghent to study to be a vet.
