UPDATE Dec 4: Serbia is taking over this tournament. New thread: Connect 4 Restarted Again
This is a tournament which is based on the Original Connect 4 tournament by yeti_c. I was trying to get it off the ground, but unfortunately i was unable to find enough subs. So yeti_c kindly enough has given me a permission to restart it.
Here are the rules:
Welcome to the Connect 4 tournament.
This tournament will be played exclusively on the new Conquer 4 map.
The games will be 2 player - Sequential, No Spoils, Chained, Sunny.
The Tournament will have 32 players and progress will be made by beating your opponent in a game of Connect 4! (Here's the twist)
Players will take it in turns to choose a column within which to attempt to place a chip.
A game is then played - and the winner of the game - decides the colour of the chip.
First player to create a Connect 4 wins the round.
If no connect 4 is made and the board is filled up - then the round will be decided by total number of wins.
Initial starting brackets will be decided randomly. - No shows will be replaced by Reserves in the first round - and will cause bye's in later rounds.
All game must be started within 2 days, since they were posted.
