I have been doing many tournaments with all kinds of formats over the past few months. I think the round robin format is the best so I have decided to start a series. Each week I will put out at least one if not a few and take 20 sign ups.
Because I had so many people joining either art or shapes there was some confusion on when and where people signed up so I have added a second to shapes so the four of them do not miss out. Anyone can join, but the first 20 are in. I am sticking with 20 players to each tourney in this series so I can keep a nice system going.
Here are the specifications for: HA's Round Robin Series-Classic Shapes-TWO
20 entrants (divisions of 5) 1v1, 2 player games (round robin)divisions created by random.org Seq chained reinforcements esc. spoils no fog
You must be premium as you will start with 4 games in the first round.
There will be two rounds:
First round you will be randomly placed in a division of 5 players. You will play each player one time. The best record in each division advances to the finals. If there is a tie for record, record is all that matters all the top players in the division advance to the finals
For the finals you will play each player 2 times so a double round robin. Best record wins.
For the finals if there is a tie for first, if one player swept the other player that player wins. If they split , they will play a 2 out of 3 series to decide.
If multiple players are tied with the same record, only record matters and they will do another double round robin. (this does not apply if multiple players are tied and one player has swept the other players. That one player would win)
The above final rules will continue until there is an undecided champion.

I am adding you as first reserve ad you need to be premium to be in this--especially if you make the finals.
I will use you if I have a drop out but you need to keep three spots open. I pm'd you last night and did not get a response before registration closed.
I also sent a link to the one tourney I have available right now for non premium members
Time goes by so fast when you are so busy. It has been more than a month since the last post in this tourney, but round one games have now been released.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.
b00060 has went 7-3 in the finals. That will be the mark. I believe I am the only one who can match his record of 7-3 and since we split I would be able to play him in another double round robin. I will re-check and edit this post if I am not accurate, but that is where we stand now. I have three active games remaining.
