I'm soooo glad the refs get to decide who wins an NHL playoff game......

Wings got boned.

Canes looked pretty good last night. Staal owned Chara. Going to be a hell of a series.

Well, at least the Canucks didn't blow a 3 goal lead, this time.

At least I'm rooting for my team, not some proxy team because my team finished at the bottom of the league, AGAIN.

You win, on that front.

I don't know why I hate The Wings so much. I think it's inherent in Leafs' fans. It's irrational, but it's there.
f*ck the wings. ;)

I understand the hatred. I hate the Yankees (and to a slightly lesser degree the Red Sox). I can understand hating a team that wins all the time. The proximity and the fact the Toronto hasn't won one since the sixties adds to the hatred. I just can't understand liking the fact that the refs totally ruined that game. It wasn't just the early whistle at the end. It was the bullshit calls on penalties that led to goals and the viscious cross checks and other hits that WERE penalties that weren't called.

On a side note, I'd just like to point out that Anaheim was the second most penalized team in the NHL while Detroit was the least penalized. The penalties called in game 4 were much more consistent throughout the game and to how the regular season was and not just because the ducks were penalized more. Anaheim likes to do the cheap dirty shit and they got away with it in game 3. Hopefully there won't be any more game 3's, even if a bad call could give Detroit a game. I like to watch 2 hockey teams PLAY, not 2 hockey teams deal with the refs.

Even I'll admit game 3s penalization seemed a bit odd...

You can't really explain why you hate a team so much. I hate the Leafs with a passion...in spite of being from Ontario and having most of my friends Leafs fans. For me it may have been overexposure as they were on EVERY Saturday night on HNIC.

There's a difference between liking it, and making a joke about it.

Detroit just won a great game! It's better for hockey when the traditional teams win. So what are we looking at now?...Chicago versus Detroit in the Conference Finals!! Tremendous matchup...can't wait.

Where is Serbia?

Where is Juan?

...and where are all the Patrick Roy-haters? I'm only back for a short time so let's spend it wisely by making fun of the Avalanche.
