Italian city states

Having a good map for the italian city states would be great if historically acurate. If you managed to include land on the other side of the agean sea, then you could have the venitian empire. With the papal states in the centre and the kingdom of naples in the south. Maybe even having some of southern france becuase the french attack allot. If you made each major city e.g rome, venice, naples, florence you could have an amazing map

also, there are sooooooo many europe maps, maybe some people are sick at the slight mention of another europen map

again, some people might think this is a great idea, but my vote is no. wait for other responses and then think about if this is still worth it

There is already an Italy map in live play, and Ruben Cassar has started a map of the Veneto region of Italy - you might want to pick his brain?

i understand that there is to many euro maps but if the map was made well and there was good gameplay with intresting graphics, it wouldn't matter.

I say go for it! It's a good idea, we may have another Italy map but it won't be the first time an area's been covered twice and Italy has some extremely interesting history to pick from. I like the idea of the medieval city states a lot but you may also want to look into the wars of unification(which I know nothing about but it may have a good map in it).

the wars of unifercation is a good idea
but it wouldn't have parts of the venice empire, austria and france so it would be more of an italy map
and because of all the italy maps already there i want to make it for a larger audience so it is more popular

Well, I'm all for it.

There is nothing like 13th-16th Italian wars!! It's a supremely interesting period and the map can be decorated with bits of Renaissance paintings. What else do you need?
