I would darken the numbers just to make them more visible. I like the new idea of darker water but I would go further with it. Maybe try this as Feudal War in the dark ages, darken up the whole map in style and play
I also feel it is a bit squeezed into a cube. Maybe widen it a little and give each territory a little more space.
I for see big problems when armies hit three digits, even two digits, they will just seem like a long large number, I am not sure how to fix this but keep it in mind.
Love the Map!

This map looks really good, I like feudal but I think this map looks like it will play even better.

I definitely think there should be at least 2 entrances for each castle, since this is a sequel I really think the gameplay should be improved to negate bombarding and just sitting tactic that's popular now.

Maybe just all the new territories added will be enough though!

There's some hard lines throughout the map (grunge layer maybe?) that I don't like. There's one big one going from Barb 1 up to Xeu 16, and a few others. I agree with the thicker rock dividers, and some more colour to the terrain would be nice too.

You should bring the shades of green from the minimap into the big map. As it is, this map looks like a leaf under a microscope.

You might also want to try to work in CMYK mode as it will keep you to more natural tones rather than that green which is all out of gamut.

Agree to make the rock ledges bigger. The lake a lighter blue I think, doesn't really look like water. I have some difficulty reading Clan Rhu because it is on top of the castle and too close to the "1". If this can be moved without trouble then cool, if not I suppose its fine.

I personally think the green is a few shades too dark, I like mibi's idea of bringing the different shades of green over, even if we don't like them all being different colors, we can pick which one is the best shade.

most of us know what victory is gained by conquering all castles means, but someone is going to complain that he's done just that, but the game hasn't finished. it happens in just about every map that has an objective. even though feudal epic is a derivative of one of the best-loved maps on cc, is it worth changing the original feudal war objective to conquer all castles and hold for one turn to win?

Probably better with "Start your turn holding all Castles".

Completely disagree with this - the maps should not be hand holding things that the site should tell you in the instructions...

Next we'll have to put extra wording about how bombarding is still possible if there is 1 neutral and that bombarding gives you a card and that bombarding doesn't allow you to advance your armies.

I dont think the entrance to castles needs the extra definition. Instead just bold up the walls very slightly. And maybe dampen down the darkness of the river boundary while widening just a little. The first thin i see when i look at it is the big contrasty river boundary.

I'd still like to see the title at the top of the map, to avoid unnecessary scrolling. One of the things that niggles with me is how indistinct the different areas are. I know you're using different colours for the numbers, but the name of each area isn't immediately obvious :? (The same thing bothers me about Feudal War :-$ )

Hm, I think I'm in agreement with MrBenn about the indistiction of the different regions...

I agree with this one.
Also I notice you've got green and gold for the territ IDs, but the gold ones stand out much more and draw ones attention to them more than the others. Was this what you wanted with those numbers. Perhaps something more consistent like gold and faded yellow might work. :)
