There was another game we won against owenator, but that's vanished.

This was a triples game - owenator was pissed because
ACC1,
seekmeup41
and I thrashed owenators butt twice on a Pearl harbour map.

He started trying to dig up some dirt and wrongly accused seekmeup41 and ACC1 of being multis - they have been cleared of it which is only right - I know them both, they are two individual human beings.

Owenator then went around informing other players we were playing against in triples games that they were multis, making life unpleasant for everyone - now he's gone and given me 1 star ratings across the board and accused me of 'secret diplomacy' (in a team game) amongst other things just because we beat him.

I don't normally give a rat's ass about ratings but owenator, with no other life than CC and evidently blighted with a 1" dick when it's hard, has abused the system once again.

I'd also love to know what happened to the other game we played against him and won - it's vanished from the system.

So I'd like this recorded as a matter of course that owenator is abusing the ratings system. Unfortunately he can't be busted for being a sore loser, an asswipe and a crybaby, but you might want to consider adding those tags to the ratings system for idiots like him.

I have friends who had the same problem with Owenator (I'll let them post as I myself have never experienced his wrath) but like dezzy said, you have to keep the personal stuff out as it can be considered starting a flame war. If Owenator did go into your other games and "warn" other players, you should list those games as well, as that can be considered trolling.

I don't unfairly rate players unless you start acting immaturely and when you start being condescending and arrogant, than of course you're going to get poor ratings. I'm a respected player and I get pissed off with games when I see outrageous dice, but I move on. I'm not going to sink to your childish level and behaviour. All I can say is that if you're going to be so sensitive about ratings, then perhaps you are abusing the admins/moderators time with trivial things. Fine - give me a warning, but stop with your flaming because this is NOT the first time where you've used foul language against me, and I'd be happy to provide proof of this. btown, I don't know who you friends are - but as I said, the only way that I would have problems with anyone would be the above stated reasons, and unnecessary suicides.

I've played several games against owenator and have never had a problem with him. Also some of my earlier games on the site were with him, and Owen noticing I was a n00b offered me helpful advise.

You know, I agree that ahote did have a very heated response in his message which probably was a bit overboard. However, if you look at the game in question where ahote was given 1-1-1 across the board and also accused of secret diplomacy, it does appear in that instance he was unfairly rated. Ahote was on the winning team and owenator was on the losing team. So why the 1-1-1 rating?

Here's the story:

Owenator loses to seekmeup41, ACC1 and myself, all playing on the same team in two Pearl harbour triples games.

He looks for some dirt and thinks he finds some and reports it.

None of us have anything against people investigating multis - I am at the moment experiencing the frustration of probably losing a quads game because a multi is playing - but on both MY team and the OPPOSING team - one doesn't lose much, even if it isn't right, if a multi plays on the same team as himself.

Either way: owenator didn't stop there - he went around our games informing OTHER players that seekmeup and ACC were multis.

In the meantime, the two, whom I know personally to be TWO DIFFERENT PEOPLE have been CLEARED.

Seekmeup sent owenator a PM asking for an apology NOT for the initial accusation, but for the interference in our games.

This was your (owenator's) reply:

I know you're a pussy douchebag because of what you just wrote. Grow a pair of balls, because you're obviously a fucking pansy. Trust me, guys like you are the kind of guys that talk big words. Of course, I'm going to warn people. If you're a cheater, then people have a right to know. I have CLEARLY admitted and stated that I had only personally accused YOU of having secret diplomacy. Your two friends: seekmeup41 and ACC1 were clearly and obviously conspiring in the 2.1 World map. But, I guess one map wasn't enough. Listen, 1 game is nothing to me. Yeah, we were down the hole in that game but it was DURING the game I submitted a form for accusing your friends, and not after. YOU, on the other hand, checked your ratings after the fact, got pissed off that I gave you low ratings and then accuse me of rating abuse? For what? 1 game? That's not enough evidence. And like I said - I'm fine with getting a warning or whatever. But YOU are really wasting these guys time with your pursuit of something so trivial. I can't believe how personally you take those ratings.

Now, providing PM's is subjective. First of all, it involved me and your buddy - and not you. But, I guess you and your friend are not man enough to move onwards. i'm not going to foe you and i'm not even going to hate; i appreciate what you were trying to do. i know how i have felt when i thought people were a multi and i have lost it in the game chats and have filed abuse reports. i even lost it when a newbie (with <10 games under their belt) ran laps around me in a freestyle game (i assumed impossible given it took me a few hundred games before i even discovered clickable maps) so i certainly know what it feels like to feel cheated. but you did waste a lot of my time and you have people foeing me for no just cause which really isn't cool. i think an apology would be in order but that is obviously up to you.

fine, i don't think i could have possibly been nicer about what you have put me through but i guess you really are an asshole. first you put full faith in their investigation and now you call it mundane. whatever mate. please, keep spending your time investigating all this suspicious activity in all the players on CC; i'm sure it will pay you well in the long-run. for the rest of us that have a job and kids and a life we'll keep playing CC when we can find the time.

So, the guy calls me a profanity, after admitting he understands where I'm coming from and my intent was simply to bust a cheater? Quite hypocritical. Anyways, he goes on to hurl insults, that was not only uncalled for but reaches a personal level. As for owenator being abusive in ratings, for now this is cleared. However, if we see ratings that the game does not support, then we shall deal with this by then.
