This tournament is a doubles tournament in which you play different maps which will randomly selected out of all available maps.
-Premium is required because you have to play 6 games at the same time.
-All games will be: 4-player doubles, Sequential, Escalating, Chained, No Fog.
-In each round each team will play 6 games, 2 each on 3 randomly selected maps. Maps that have already been played in a previous round will not be played again later on in the tournament. Opponents will also be randomly selected, so it is possible you play the same opponents in more then 1 game in a round.
-Teams get 1 point for each game they win.
-At the end of each round the team(s) with the overall lowest score will be eliminated. In rounds 1-11 each round 2 teams will be eliminated. In rounds 12-20 each round 1 team will be eliminated. When 2 or more teams that are on the border of elimination have the same score, the decision of who of them is eliminated is “postponed” to the next round. That means they will all qualify for the next round, but they get marked. In the next round first the marked team(s) with the overall lowest score will get eliminated, followed by the normal elimination procedure for that round.
-If at the end of round 20 2 or more teams have the same amount of points at the top of the table, these teams will play extra rounds to determine the winner of the tournament, just as long untill a winner is known.
-When teams haven’t joined the games in a round after 2 days, I will send them a reminder. If they still haven’t joined the games 2 days after the reminder, the folowing will happen:
a) When both players of a team haven’t joined, that team will automatically be eliminated in that round
b) When only 1 player of a team has joined, I will send him a PM to get a new partner. If a new partner is not provided within 2 days, the team will be eliminated.
-Each team can make 1 substitution without losing points. For each next substitution points will be deducted (1 point for the 2nd substitution, 2 points for the 3rd substitution, etc.)
-Opponents of teams that don’t show up will still play their games. They will be coupled to the other team that the no-show-team had to play on that map. If in such a case a team would have to play themselves I will let them play a “dummy team”. That might be 1 of the teams eliminated in the previous rounds or just randomly some players I will call for via the Callout forum.
