I'm just doing mine for in depth analysis Dazoot, and to a bit greater depth as I count all points secured, not just points from finished games, so same as last round i'll be updating every few days with the qualifying chances for my group and a bit of commentary(player x needs y amounts of points to qualify, player a and player b are fighting for spot c but could both qualify if, etc...). Brandon said it was okay and asked me to do a brief rundown every now and then for the other groups if I have time.

Without your stats to start from i'd be struggling to do this, and it's a good error check so keep on doing what your doing.

It's assigning them as soon as they're earned, not on elimination, so points are a little higher than will be with your elimination method. Kilo Group Approx 20% complete, 15 games finished, 31 with 1 elimination or more. 84 games await completion.

1) TtD 89 points (217 minimum) Strong start for myself with 79 live games remaining.

2) Danalan 82 points (207 minimum) Dan has secured some early wins that see him in a strong position, averaging solid scores all around with only five early eliminations in remaining live games. 79 live games remaining.

2) Xiaojie 82 points (203 minimum) Xiao has also started strongly but looks set to drop back a little over the next few days due to early eliminations in active games. 78 live games remaining.

4) General Flashman 80 points (212 minimum) Flashman should jump up over the next few days to 2nd or 3rd with some very strong games nearing completion. 77 live games remaining.

5) Lord Grantius 71 points (196 minimum) A large number of active games remaining seems to suggest Grantius will advance a little in short time. Slow starter but score is unnaturally low while he stays alive. 80 live games remaining.

6) Whitetrash67 69 points (185 minimum) A lot of early outs are inflating total score on what has been a bad start for White, expect him to drop back a little over the next few days pending a late surge. 76 live games remaining.

7) Jug68 65 points (194 minimum) Jug has started to catch up after a rocky start and is due some big point scores in the next few days that will leapfrog Whitetrash. 78 live games remaining.

Darin44 56 points (183 minimum) Darin is floating off the back of the pack and struggling to keep up with the pace so far. A big increase in points is needed shortly to reduce the gap. 75 live games remaining.

WOW ... what a relief... I was beginning to worry that I was becoming obsessed with this tourney!

Though TtD, the analysis looks great. The whole "minimum points" thing confused me too when you first posted it, but its a great angle on things .... hopefully we meet in one of the MB tourneys soon..

Kilo Group Approx 60% complete, 50 games finished, 26 with 1 elimination or more. 50 games await completion.

1) TtD 89 points (362 minimum) Continuing to push on at the front. Only an average number of wins but limiting the 1 point games is helping. 44 live games remaining

2) Danalan 82 points (337 minimum) Has pushed on well over the last day and has climbed up to a relatively safe position. Continuation at the same pace should ensure qualification. 42 live games remaining

2) Xiaojie 82 points (307 minimum) Xiao had really fallen behind until a surge late last night pulled her up into contention. She remains off the pace but is only 24 points away from the final spot. 45 live games remaining

4) General Flashman 80 points (336 minimum) Flashman has pushed on as expected and now sits solidly in 3rd, almost level with Danalan. 46 live games remaining

5) Lord Grantius 71 points (331 minimum) Grantius has solidified his hold on 4th spot with some consistant scoring and still has a lot of active games comparitively. Those behind will have to start thinking about crippling him if they intend to catch him up as he could pull away. 46 live games remaining

6) Whitetrash67 69 points (323 minimum) Some adventurous gameplay has Whitetrash back in contention and only 8 points off the 4th spot. Expect White to finish strongly based on past rounds. 44 live games remaining

7) Jug68 65 points (322 minimum) Jug continues to be the wildcard of the group, hoovering up wins at a rapid pace but crashing and burning in a lot of the other games. If he can gain some solid results with his wins he'll be in contention, if not at least he'll get a good rank out of this. 44 live games remaining

Darin44 56 points (285 minimum) Darin realistically is already out of contention, and simply playing for pride. Out of the most games so far, and with almost 50 points between him and 4th spot it would take some kind of miracle for him to rescue a spot. 40 live games remaining

5) Danalan 111 points (398 minimum) In 3rd for now but a couple of slip-ups will drag him back into the fistfight for the final few places. 24 live games remaining

6) General Flashman 109 points (410 minimum) 2nd probably now sewn up as long as a collapse is avoided. Strong runner up placings have helped Flashman jump ahead of the pack during this afternoon's play. 27 live games remaining
