I couldn't find a specific rule against what is and isn't allowed for a single post. It is not "severe pm abuse" as he has only posted one comment on my wall, but I find his tone and language to be irresponsible and completely unnecessary. I would like a response from an admin as to whether my $25 a year provides me the right to post similarly vulgar things on other players walls, or if this is viewed as abuse...

i cant believe i am bout to do this. Katoro wouldn't be himself if he didn't stir up some crap with somebody. matter of fact i wouldnt like the guy if he didnt atleast start a few problems. he can be a pain in CC's ass sometimes but so can a bunch of others. you all got to remember it is a game if you dont like what he says or just plain out hate him. ignore him, foe him, do what you got to not to deal with him. no matter what we all cant get along but we all can avoid the ones we dont like to.

so remember if you cant stand someone for what they do just ignore them. hell i dont see eye to eye with him and we have exchanged harsh words. katoro will always be the way he is so either deal with it or dont.

Bad behaviour is a matter of choice, not nature. The fact that CC is "just a game" is not particularly good excuse for being a jackass. In fact, it's a really good reason for not going out of your way to harass, insult and abuse people. People join CC to have fun - the vast majority (I suspect around 99%) don't want the abuse. And they especially don't want the abuse to follow them outside of the game (for example, onto their walls).

It's not hard to not be a complete jackass - seriously - it's not like we're asking Kotaro or anyone to something really difficult.

Ignoring and foeing aren't enough. Rather, the system needs to encourage good behaviour - that is, being someone enjoyable to play CC games with, and discourage bad behaviour. And it really needs to stamp out cyber-bullying.

Kotaro is already on my foe list. I won't be playing any games with him. But he's free to prey on the hundreds of other players that haven't met him yet, especially players new to the site.

Personally, I'd love to see lifetime bans for serious, repeat offenders. But short of that, restricting the ability to chat, PM or write on walls might be a good step.
