North Korea

Post by captain.crazy »

Well... what about it? Are we going to have to go to war with North Korea or are we going to have to borrow money to pay them off? I say if they launch a nuke at South Korea, we kill them all. Otherwise, let Japan and South Korea take care of them.

It's hard to imagine any kind of war occurring in the region. I think at this stage everybody is just going through the motions and waiting to see what happens when Kimmy J dies. Expect lots of rhetoric, outrage and talks, but not much will change.

* On the assumption that K J Il doesn't do something stupid like attacking South Korea.

Kim Jung Il probably has dead switch hooked up to him to automatically launch his missiles immediately upon his death.

Call it what you want (i could give a flying fook who thinks it's racist) but those people are as crazy as shithouse rats. I personally wouldn't f*ck with them.

B.K. did not say that and he is not being racist by saying that North Koreans are crazy. That would be like saying I'm being racist against white people if I was to say that the French are arrogant, rude, and cowardly. I would not be racist if I made this statement.

not technically but as it turns out you would still be awful and dumb

and like i said before, when bk calls all north koreans crazy he is drawing on the age-old stereotype of far easterners being small, tricky, fanatical malingerers. just because he narrowed in on one subgroup doesn't mean that what he's saying isn't racism.

here's an analogy for you: if i said everyone in mexico was a lazy waste of space, would you feel comfortable calling that racism? or would you want to stop and play bizarre semantics games whereby denigrating the character of 100 million people at a time is somehow not racism because i didn't specifically say that i also, for instance, hate cubans or puerto ricans, even though i almost assuredly do not know or care about the differences between these nationalities

If you say "all___________ people are __________" you are making a stereotypical statement. Stereotypes are offensive. Are they racist? Not always. But they are ignorant and inappropriate.

Now let's play the game where you find smart ass answers to the sentence that aren't.

A RISING clique of generals within the North Korean regime is said to be behind it detonating its second nuclear test, which has plunged the Korean peninsula and the region into a new era of insecurity.

The underground blast, which registered 4.7 on the Richter scale, came within hours of it testing three short-range missiles and an earlier string of belligerent actions including sending a rocket over Japan, abandoning the six-party talks, resuming the extraction of weapons-grade plutonium from spent fuel rods and tearing up all non-aggression pacts with Seoul.

Following the latest test, South Korea put its 680,000-strong military on heightened alert.

One has to seriously wonder... why did the Japanese not shoot that shit down... then you remember... they are de-militarized. Unleash them... let them destroy North Korea... I love a damn samurai!

Japan is still de-militarized? I'm embarrased that I did not know that.

I wonder what China thinks about those nuts in N. Korea? Seems like they might not like somebody upsetting their apple cart since they appear to be doing pretty good in this new economic world.

Like i said N. Korea is China's Pit Bull. Don't forget who bailed her out in the Korean War. China loves the N Koreans because they're all crazier than shithouse rats, and the Chinese think that shithouse rats are cute (and tasty). They've always protected N Korea, and have been saving her for a rainy day - this could be it.

PS - Slanty eyed people are generally smarter than round eyed ones, so we need to be careful on this one.

Are shithouse rats tastier than other rats??

Have to ask the Chinese. I generally stay away from shithouses with rats in them. I do like Chinese food though, and you never know, do you?
