We are looking at around 130 maps for the final, This would be the most ever for 1 MB round...With the new "Random" feature I might add an extra game or two in the final . For those moving on to round 3 get ready, map count is 120 which is no small task. For those of you not moving on please stop by and check on the progress and please leave any comments or suggestions for MB VI which will start taking sign-ups after the final round of MBV is under way

Is going to take a huge effort now from Grantius and Whitetrash combined to get back into this, they're 12 points back from Jug with 9 games active. Both have active games (7 and 5 respectively) while Jug has 8 of the 9 still competitive. Flashman is worse off in terms of games left but has an extra 13 points cushion on Jug and is essentially safe, same with Dan whose 6 clear of Jug with 6 live games left.

I am sitting anxiously waiting for Kilo group to end. This post is on the assumption that I hold on to my qualifying place in Kilo.

I presume that the moderators will start Group November once Kilo is done, rather than waiting for India and Juliet.

About a week ago, I was active in about 125 games. Since I want to keep the decks clear for the next round, that's down to only 19 just now. I feel bereft!

However, I know that if I go on a splurge of games, November will start immediately, and I don't think I can cope with 200 active games at one time!

Roll on the next stage - I can't wait!

Actually danalan was talking about his round three games. Anyway 120 games at once is pretty intense. In Map Blaster 1 I think we had 73 games for the final and I remember thinking how badass that was. I can only imagine how many games MB VIII or IX will have.

It's not just MB -- I'm in a few other tournaments, a clan war, and I'm running two tournaments of my own. I was in the finals of MB IV, so know what to expect -- it's just a huge shock when you log in and see the entire status bar filled with little green dots.
