It's no myth that asylum seekers jump housing and health queues! Of course the government doesn't actually admit this. I know several nice young British girls who were given council flats as an 18th birthday present, and the local social services look after their kids on a Friday night so they can go out on the piss.
By way of contrast all immigrants have high moral standing and thoroughly deserve everything they get, unlike us Brits they never resort to ignorant stereotypes and rabid generalisations

No, you can buy your own house of course or rent privately (at a much higher rental price), but I'm talking about 'social housing' here. Which usually helps those people that work but are on low wages.

Sorry, but this sounds like blatant racism. Since when are immigrants all "jobless, multiple children, ethnic families" and since when will they "never give anything back to Britain." I realize that your tradition is not quite the same as in the US, but it seems like if they really "never gave anything back to Britain", you would not have all those ethnic restaurants, people of various colors in all sorts of jobs, etc.

Seems like you are deciding that becuase people who first come often do have fewer resources and, sometimes (NOT always!), less education, have a harder time finding jobs for various reasons, that they are all just a bunch of lazy bums.

the problem isn't the immigrants getting housing ,the problem is junkies and generations of giro loving scum jumping the queue,by getting more points by screwing the system,i was on the housing list for 16 years with no joy,no matter ive bought a house now,but if your just out of jail and have a heroin problem,and probably mugged a few grannys in your time? all you need is a good social worker and theres a house there for you in a few months
