Initech II is complete, Initech IV is off like a herd of turtles and the other two tournaments are reaching the final stages. So it's time to start recruiting for the series' fifth incarnation... Initech V: Fantasyland.
Initech V will be foggy, sequential, flat and chained like all its cousins. But this edition will be a little smaller and much shorter than the others. It will also take place on some of the site’s fictional maps, rather than the real geography maps that Initechs 1-4 have used. Like Initech II, it will be entirely played under terminator rules.
All pertinent details follow below and, as always, feel free to ask any questions.
OVERVIEW 2-round, 35-game tournament. All players guaranteed five games. Max games for an individual player is 10.
ELIGIBLE PLAYERS Premium only, sorry. You'll need more than 4 games open at all times.
MAPS The following maps will be used: Archipelago, Discworld, CCU, Midgard, Tamriel
POINT SYSTEM 1 point for each elimination, 2 additional points for winning the map [to make this as clear as possible--the final elimination on a map is worth 3 points--1 for the elimination, 2 for the map win].
ROUNDS Round 1 will consist of six groups of 24 players. Each group will play 5 games on the maps mentioned above. There will be 4 players per group and only the group winner will advance to the finals.
The finals will consist of one group of 6 players. The same 5 maps will be played once each. The player with the most points will be tournament champion.
SEEDINGS Once I have 24 entrants, I will divide everyone into four pots by points/rank. One person from each pot will randomly go into each first round group.
TIEBREAKERS First tiebreaker at any point in the tournament will be most map wins for the round in question. Second tiebreaker will be most map wins for the entire tournament. Third tiebreaker will be most second place finishes on maps for the round in question. Fourth tiebreaker, if necessary, will be a head-to-head match on the Discworld map under tournament rules.
Reserves: 1. lukeconquer 2. keiths31

Sign me up, please. I've brought my red Swingline with me...
...I prefer a man who will burn the flag and then wrap himself in the Constitution to a man who will burn the Constitution and then wrap himself in the flag.

IF he joins I'll keep you guys apart in the first round of this tournament as a cooling off period. But there will be no guarantees for the future. You're both good players who I enjoy having in my tournaments, but I'm not going to start carving out special foe exemptions with anyone because then everyone will start asking.
