See when you say you don't even know who Thin Lizzy isI have to question your judgement in picking the best decade. Let me shine some light on the situation:muy_thaiguy wrote:You don't want to Rock n Roll all Nite?strike wolf wrote:kiss sucks period.muy_thaiguy wrote:Early AC/DC was good, so was KISS, Black Sabbath, and Alice Cooper, but there wasn't too much else there.strike wolf wrote:Never said I disliked them (at least I don't think I did) but I prefer 70s music.autoload wrote:
I knew you loved the 80's!
Black Sabbath had most of their great music in the 70s, AC/DC was great in the 70s. the Who, Pink Floyd, Led Zep, Rolling Stones, Lynard SKynard, Queen, Thin Lizzy. And that's just the short list.
Truth be told, I'm iffy on the Who, Led Zep, and the Rolling Stones, never heard of Thin Lizzy, could care less for Pink Floyd, and know only a couple of Lynard Skynard songs. I like Black Sabbath and Queen well enough as it is.

I wouldn't know anything about Kiss in the American Idol or America's got Talent tryouts. I'm judging by what I've heard from their music. I've never liked it.muy_thaiguy wrote:Well, "Thunderstruck" makes up about 3/4 of the song by the same name. But I have to give KISS more credit then what I see on America's Got Talent and American Idol in the tryouts. Especially the choir director, who sang "Over the Rainbow." He sounded more like the Wicked Witch of the West then the Wicked Witch of the West.autoload wrote:OK, that song totally sucks. i really couldn't agree with you more about Kiss.
He promised that any indian tribes that fought on his side during the war of 1812 would be allowed to keep there land. He broke his promise. To just make it an open and shut situation is really not fair. Take some real American History courses from some different college professors and get a broader idea of what really was going on in that time period. Historians differ on how to view ole twenty dolla just like we do, but all of them understand what was going on. Get a better idea of all the nuances before you make a 2nd grade opinion like you are doing. I wish targetman our history buff was here to add his input.JJM wrote:He broke his promise to the indians. Who told you bull. I can't stand people who think that all politicians are lies. There are many members of Congress of course you are going to have a few unpleasant people but I believe that the large majority of them our honest people.autoload wrote:HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

I know what I am talking about. Yes at that time just about everyone had a grudge towards indians but honesty was also considered very important at that time. Much more than it is now.autoload wrote: To just make it an open and shut situation is really not fair.
