Take some real American History courses from some different college professors and get a broader idea of what really was going on in that time period. Historians differ on how to view ole twenty dolla just like we do, but all of them understand what was going on. Get a better idea of all the nuances before you make a 2nd grade opinion like you are doing. I wish target man our history buff was here to add his input.
Strike will agree that I am too lazy to type out my whole argument of twenty dolla...
I know what I am talking about. Yes at that time just about everyone had a grudge towards indians but honesty was also considered very important at that time. Much more than it is now.
I'm not getting into an argument with a mental midget. People much more educated than us can not even agree on this so I'm not expecting any different here.
What do historians know that we don't. If they think good of Jackson they sure must not know there facts.
i am studying to become a historian historians are some of the some of the smartest people on the planet why? cause they need to know alot about about a lot of different things such as bio, geology, english, culture, math, science. there are few people on this planet that can hold up to a lens and i will call them smart but a historian is a smart person and. there job is to KNOW THE FACTS. ok so do not call yourself better then a whole field you know nothing about.
I know my facts quite well. Some presidential historians will even admit that that they don't know much outside of a few presidents. Once I was listening to a Lincoln Historian talk about and answer questions about Abraham Lincoln and he had his facts wrong once or twice. 1: He said that Abraham Lincolns son Thomas "Tad" Lincoln died at 16 or 17 years old. Really he died at 18. I knew the facts but yet he didn't. 2(maybe): When asked if there were any living descendants of Abraham Lincoln he said no and that the last descendant of Abraham Lincoln was Robert Todd Lincoln Beckwith. The facts are that Robert Todd Lincoln Beckwith's wife had a son named timothy (who is still living) but she refused to let him have a blood test. So it is unknown who the father is. I know all that I need to know about Andrew Jackson. He was a complete liar. He lied to the Indians. He asked his entire Cabinet to resign all there wives would not git along with another cabinet members wife. I don't think he understood freedom of speech because he even threatened to hang his former Vice President John C. Calhoun because he disagreed with him over the Nullification Crisis.

the fact that that a historian did not know exactly when he died but was 1-2 years off shows that we know our facts. bad example as for the rest i am not going to go there in this thread cause its the thread about nothing not worst pres[/quote] Hold on a second didn't you say that you were studying to become a Historian? If that is true then how did you spell Historian wrong?

I'm not the one needing convinced. Just drop it and move on. I have already forgotten this topic 2 days ago.
