Open de Moselle - Mixed Doubles

Congratulations to the winners: Georgerx7di & sweetypie =D>

The Open de Moselle tournament is part of the professional tennis tour and takes place from 19 to 27 September (this one will clearly start sooner). It is one of many tennis tour tournaments being run.

This tournament will take place on the France map. Each round will be the best of 3 sets.

This is a Doubles tournament, with 8 teams (16 players in total).

Each team must be a mix of doubles experts and novices. One player (novice) in each team must have no more than a bronze medal for doubles (any other medals ok) and have < 2000 pts. The other player (expert) must have at least 1800 points and at least silver medal for doubles.

Players should join as a team. Individual players are welcome to post here to find a partner.

Premiums only - unless you can seriously promise to be available to play 3 games-at-a-time throughout the tournament.

Tournament Diagram:

Details:
This will be a straight knock-out (bracket).
All rounds will be best-of-three sets (games).
Map and settings: France – doubles (obviously), sequential, no spoils, chained & fog of war.
Players
There will be 16 players.

Each team must be a mix of doubles experts and novices. One player in each team must have no more than a bronze medal for doubles (any other medals ok) and have < 2000 pts. The other player must have at least 1800 points and a silver medal for doubles at the time of signing-up.

Players must have a 97% attendance record, have played a minimum 25 matches, and not have dropped out from one of my tournaments previously! Freemiums welcome, although beware that the tournament starts as soon as we have enough players and 3-games-at-a-time if you get to the finals.

Players will have 24 hours to join their matches from when the joining PM is sent. Failure to do so will result in a reserve being sought (harsh, I know).
Reserves
All reserves will be sent a PM when an opening occurs. The first reserve to respond will gain a place.
Joining Matches
Players will be informed when they have a match and will have 24 hours to join. If they fail to do so then they will be ejected from the tournament and a reserve will replace them.
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.

3 games for semi-finals 2 is still going strong. However I am quite optimistic on our chances, barring cc dice we will win.

Only in 1 game, for which I apoligized (somehow I switched the colors). But the last game is finished, we're in the final.
