I always knew he wanted to destroy America. I never thought he'd do it within the system by bankrupting the nation. The guy's smart. I bet he stole the idea from the idiots in California. I know they did it to their state through their own stupidity, but I'm sure Obama is doing it through his brilliant intelligence. He saw a perfect model on how to destroy the nation, and jumped right at it.
In the first nine months of fiscal 2008, George Walker Bush & the government spent $285.85 billion more than it took in. In the first nine months of fiscal 2009, Barack Hussein Obama & the government spent $1.086 trillion more than it took in.
Walker Bush set a record for doubling the nation debt from about 5 trillion to about 10 trillion. It took him 8 years to do this. Hussein Obama is going to obliterate that record, and bankrupt the nation. Time to sell US dollars and buy gold.
Apart from my issue with the spending (by far my biggest issue with all this pork-barrel nonsense), is the complete lack of attention this gets from the media and potential voters. No one seems to really care about a balanced budget now that President Obama is in office. During President Bush's tenure, people were all over him for his reckless spending (and rightfully so). Now, we here nary a word from MSNBC and the like. When President Bush was overspending I heard nothing except "Where are his Republican values" and "What an idiot," etc., etc. I don't hear that right now. It's bothersome. Not as bothersome as the spending itself, but bothersome nonetheless.

To the above, it gets plenty attention from people who don't seem to realise everyone is losing money and fixing a crashing global economy takes more than 2 months and is a gueling job. Most others don't give it attention because it's an obvious result of what's happening today. You will always have some twit who owned football clubs and oil companinies and bankrupted them and got bailed out by Daddy's friends to look back to if things actually get bad though. And probably because you've got a civil liberties and habeus corpus problem to take care of first, but you never hear that either do you?

No, but his supporters attacked President Bush for spending. Are they criticizing President Obama for spending? That question is my point.
Is it really a wonder that the United States of America is going bankrupt? Really are you that surprised? Yes, I've heard the "spend your way out of bankruptcy" argument before. Why don't you try it with your own finances, and prove that it works. I blame all the previous presidents for the 11trillion obama was faced with when he took office. When he doubles or tripples it to 20 or 30 trillion in the next 4 years...then I will blame him for the vast majority of it....

Its not spending your way out of bankruptcy, thats trivialising the detail. The money spent actually sorts out what is wrong in the budget to reduce escalating costs and remove unnecessary costs (what Clinton did in his first term very successfully). It wont ork with m personal finances because my money I spend is nothing like a federal budget or national economy, the comparison is totally irrelevant. Doubling or tripling it in 4 years, how about some logic and rationality?

If you had an ounce of sense you would realise that every major European country is indeed following the same path as Obama, what is really bankrupting the USA in fact is a devotion to ignorance and partisan politics, you are a shining example of this.
Obama isnt going out and spending money.. much of the money was already spent, and was not his responsibility. Hes bailing out auto companies, one of which crushed their fully functional electric car, and convinced to build bigger gas guzzlers through a series of tax laws and environmental laws...all thanks to your buddy bush...whos buddies made out quite well by this...as they turned record profits...got paid to pretend to look for alternatives, and will never pay the taxes on those billions that they fleeced.
So yes... obama is paying for that... but it wasnt his mistake.
Obama is paying for the banks that are failing left and right, and threatening a global financial meltdown that could easily lead to the final world war....hes been there 6 months... Im gonna guess the banks failing was someone elses fault.
Hes spending money on those who lost their jobs in the financial meltdown...mostly, so they dont stop paying for their homes and autos, and then, create more of a meltdown.
Hes spending money on bridges, roads and other construction projects, so that one, workers can work, and two...so when we cross a bridge, we dont fall into the river below it. Perhaps he shouldnt take the chance, and should just put up detour signs, which are much cheaper...but I doubt this is going to help the economy too much.
Now, without a doubt money is being wasted. It always is, and always will be. But to throw out the total as some kind of spending spree at the mall, and blame him for the whole thing, and compare it to bush, who spent the money for much different things...and arguably not in our best interest...is a nice try....but dont think everyone is going to buy it.
The one problem I see, is that motivation may be affected by this. This country works hard, puts in a lot of hours, and always has, but if too many start to get a free ride, it obviously will not motivate those who kill themselves, just to support those who do not want to. At the same time, if there arent any jobs out there, its irrelevant if people want to work or not.

I don't think the construction of gas guzzlers was due to President Bush, so much as the demand for "gas guzzlers" by the American people. I'm unaware of any tax credit or environmental law that encourages the manufacture of gas guzzlers, so I think you're pretty much wrong here. Maybe you wanted to say that the lack of tax credits and environmental laws prohibiting gas guzzlers was the cause of this. Even that is incorrect, because American car companies lost money because of factors other than when they had an electric car or not. I think you need to read some more maybe.

President Obama pays for nothing, you do through taxes. That's the first thing. But, you're right, it wasn't his mistake. It wasn't my mistake either, but I'm paying for it. It wasn't your mistake, but you're paying for it. We're all paying for something that wasn't our fault, it was the companies' respective faults. Therefore, they should be paying for it. At least, that's my view on the subject.
The same stuff above goes for your points on the banks. In any event, we will see if this sort of spending helps the economy and the country in general. I still think it's too early to say it's working or not working or a mistake.
