I love this map, but I actually believe that the large version of the map is a bit too small. I think it would strain my eyes to play on it. Maybe it can be slightly enlarged?

I agree with Ruben. I'm eagerly awaiting this map, but the large map could be increased in size. I don't have any problem reading or understanding the map, but an increase in size wouldn't hurt.

Okay, looking mighty nice! Lets see...few points of interest:

Is it just me, or are there some random blue splotches near northwest La Wal.?

Also, I like the ocean water, but in it's current state, it doesn't seem to quite flow and fit. Look into maybe blending it a little more, or simply playing around with it.

Also, your map has a nice visual theme, but the 'BeNeLux' unfortunately doesn't seem to quite fit with visual style you currently have on the map. I.E. Compare to legend and the Capitals explanation. Perhaps it's the color, or texture, or both, or something entirely different. But look into playing around with that. Maybe, look for different flag images, ones that are less 'solid color' like...hm. **shrugs**

I can't see any evidence of this.

I've been biting my tounge about this for too long, but I find it a bit odd that this map and Malta haven't been Final Forged. There seems to be some inconsistency in the forging process IMO.

Eastern Front gets Final Forged on an old image with fake number placement and Netherlands looks nowhere near as nice as this.

Sorry if I've ruffled any feathers, but I'm not sure the system is fair on all the map makers.

The system really isn't so much of a system, but fun nonetheless! All things will be Final Forged in time, so it doesn't matter. Now stop complaining, and work on a new map. ;)

The only places army shadows cross borders in this map is where it can't be avoided because of geography. You don't have that excuse qwert.

Now, if you have any more problems with me, stop plauging other peoples map threads with them and PM me.

Some suggestions that were mentioned:

- Random blue splotches near northwest La Wallonie are removed.
- The ocean water is blending a little more.
- The text in the flags has the same visual style except the shadows.
- Another texture of Zuid-Nederland that fit with the other continents.
- New circle armies of Zuid-Nederland.
- No texture on the continent legend.
- Another place of the capital Legend and coats of arms.
- New place and text "Made By De Veroveraars Club".

So let us know what U think about the map BeNeLux so far.

              Final Forge

---The BeNeLux Map has reached the ‘Final Forge’ Stage. I've revived this thread from the pits of the Foundry furnace and have examined the contents. Nearly every major concern has been addressed. If there are any other current concerns, please make your voice heard. There will be at least two days (but may extend pass that) for you to post any objections; if no one has posted any protest after two days the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. If after two days there is still discussion going on it may continue until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.

Post questions and concerns if any.

Congratulations, this map looks great.

However the BeNeLux font is not clear enough on the flags. Maybe you can darken it or its edges a bit? I would also put the coat of arms next to their respective nation like they were before as not many will be able to associate the coat of arms with its specific country.
