BladeRazor wrote:no, not at all, tacos are tortilla, beef, cheese, lettuce, tomatos, sauce, sour cream, and sometimes ketchup. Burritos on the other hand are bean and cheese, sometimes beef, and mashed into a gooey paste, then pumped into a wrapped up tortilla... :D

EDIT:Sorry morph i meant to say beef in taco... although at taco bell you can get ones with chicken!

Well the kinds of things that you're describing is the crap you get from "American Mexican" food joints. That's not even TexMex. REAL Mexican tacos do not have sour cream and especially not ketchup. You need to have some true Mexican food, it tastes a whole lot better than the nasty, e. coli filled, crap that you get from your local Taco Bell.

Burritos are better because they don't have all the vegetables and sauce...

You need some real Mexican food too. Most of the good burritos are smothered with green chili sauce.

Huh? What burritos are you eating? FYI: Beans are a vegetable.

Beans are a legume.

(We could argue this ad nauseam, and no one would win. Vegetable is not a botanical, but rather a gastronomical term. A vegetable is simply whatever one considers a vegetable, as long as its part of a plant.)

AY nino, burritos are not Mexican food. Burritos are Tex-mex invented by gringo caobuays.

Burritos are thought to have been originally made in Southern California, not Texas, by Mexicans, making it a Mexican food.

Wikipedia and Google searches seem to indicate that this is a highly controversial topic.

Okay then... wow I didn't know this was such an emotional topic . Anywho, umm i never meant to offend you harcore mexican food fans out there, I was expressing my views of tacos and burritos. But on another note enough with all of the technicalities, no one cares where they came from or wether beans are vegetables or whether ketchup is evil (which it's not  ) we need to focus on the real issue, which one TASTES better!

Though I think one of each plus nachos or in the case of the "bell" some of those "chili cheese fries".

I agree authentic and the synthetic stuff is both good, just different.

Here's a travisty, taco bell here doesn't have fire sauce.

Nah, it's more like saying The arches is a place you can get a high quality burger made with ground beef but I know what you mean.

Real mexican food has food as ingredients, taco bell I suspect no one really knows including the people running the machines that manufacture it before it's shipped to the warm up facility.

Polls only stop if you set it to only go for a certain amount of days when you make them.
