
IMEC's Copa del Rey (Starts September 1st)
IMEC's Copa del Rey is a 1v1 Tournament based on the Spanish Football Cup.
Premiums & Freemiums welcome (Freemiums keep one slot open)
It is the first one in a series of European Cup Tournaments that I will host. More information can be found on:

Map: Iberia
Play Order: Sequential
Spoils: can be chosen by players when signing up
Reinforcements: can be chosen by players when signing up
Fog of War: No (because of the spectators
Details:
General:
The Tournament will be played using the format of the Copa del Rey.
Little changes are the number of teams and the using of byes.
Because more players will take part as in the real Copa, there will be a Qualification Phase first.
Also there will be no byes as in the real Copa in Round 1 up to 3.

Signing-up:
There will be room for 200 players.
Please indicate Spoils and Reinforcement when signing up, otherwise Escalating Spoils and Chained Reinforcements will be used.
Sign-up period ends on September 1st or when 200 players signed-up.
Format:
[spoiler]Qualification Phase:
At the end of the sign-up period it will be determined which 80 players are automatically qualified for the Main Tournament and which 120 players have to play the 3 Qualification Rounds.
Players 81 until 200 according to their points on the Scoreboard will play with the corresponding Team as given in the Second Post.
Qualifying Round 1:
Draw is made using http://www.random.org. Settings used are the ones of the home-team.
60 1v1 games, winners go through to Qualifying Round 2.
Qualifying Round 2:
Draw is made using http://www.random.org. Settings used are the ones of the home-team.
30 1v1 games, winners go through to Qualifying Round 3.
Qualifying Round 3:
Draw is made using http://www.random.org. Settings used are the ones of the home-team.
15 1v1 games, winners go through to Round 1 of the Main Tournament.
Main Tournament:
After the Qualifying Rounds have finished it will be determined, according to the scoreboard, which 20 players (Primera División) are automatically qualified for the Final Phase of 32 teams.
Players 21 until 41 will play with the corresponding Segunda División team (Second Post) and are automatically qualified for Round 2.
Players 42 until 80 will play in Round 1 with the corresponding Segunda División B or Tercera División team.
Round 1:
Draw is made using http://www.random.org. Settings used are the ones of the home-team.
27 1v1 games, winners go through to Round 2.
Round 2:
Draw is made using http://www.random.org. Settings used are the ones of the home-team.
There are 2 pots, the first one with 20 Segunda División teams and the second one with 1 remaining Segunda División team and the 27 winners of Round 1.
Teams are tied with a team from the same pot.
24 1v1 games, winners go through to Round 3.
Round 3:
Draw is made using http://www.random.org. Settings used are the ones of the home-team.
There are 2 pots, the first one with the 10 winners of the Segunda División team-games and the second one with the 14 other Round 2 winners.
Teams are tied with a team from the same pot.
12 1v1 games, winners go through to Round 4 in Final Phase Bracket.
Final Phase Bracket:
For the 20 players that are automatically qualified, it will be determined which team they will play. (According to the Scoreboard)
Two pots will be made. The first one with 16 Primera División teams and the second one with the remaining 4 Primera División teams and the winners of Round 3.
Teams from Pot 2 will play against teams from Pot 1 and are given home-advantage in the first-leg.
The draw will take place for the complete bracket using http://www.random.org. So future opponents will be known.
Round 4:
16 1v1 games played over 2 legs. In case of a 1-1 a third leg will be played with Team 1's Spoils-setting and Team 2's Reinforcements-setting. Winners go through to Round 5.
Round 5:
According to the bracket, the winner of Round 4 match 1 will play the winner of match 2 and so on. So 3 vs. 4, 5 vs. 6 etc.
8 1v1 games played over 2 legs. In case of a 1-1 a third leg will be played with Team 1's Spoils-setting and Team 2's Reinforcements-setting. Winners go through to the Quarter-Finals.
Quarter-Finals:
According to the bracket, the winner of Round 5 match 1 will play the winner of match 2 and so on. So 3 vs. 4, 5 vs. 6 & 7 vs. 8.
4 1v1 games played over 2 legs. In case of a 1-1 a third leg will be played with Team 1's Spoils-setting and Team 2's Reinforcements-setting. Winners go through to the Semi-Finals.
Semi-Finals:
According to the bracket, the winner of Quarter-Final match 1 will play the winner of match 2 and the winner of match 3 will play the winner of match 4.
2 1v1 games played over 2 legs. In case of a 1-1 a third leg will be played with Team 1's Spoils-setting and Team 2's Reinforcements-setting. Winners go through to the Final.
Final:
According to the bracket, the winner of Semi-Final match 1 will play the winner of match 2.
It's a 1v1 game that will be played with No Spoils and Adjacent Reinforcements. Winner wins the Copa del Rey![/spoiler]
Joining matches:
[spoiler]Players will be invited for their match using the invite-feature and will have 24 hours to join. If they fail to do so you will get another chance with a reminder and I also will note you. Players who fail to join after the reminder will be ejected from the tournament and a reserve will replace them.[/spoiler]
Winning matches:
[spoiler]You win your match as follows: 1. eliminate your opponent within 30 Rounds, 2. hold the most regions in Round 30 (if there is a tie then Round 29 will be looked at and so on), 3. your opponent deadbeats or 4. your opponent doesn't show-up and there is no reserve (walk-over). Note: If it is a Final then rule 2 doesn't count and play will go on until 1 player has won the game.
A draw can be possible in case of more legs, a structure with re-plays or a round-robin competition, when both players reach Round 11 in a game.[/spoiler]
Reserves:
[spoiler]Reserves are welcome and will only be used to replace players who didn't join there first game in the Tournament. Reserves never can replace higher-ranked players![/spoiler]
Disqualification Policy:
[spoiler]Notes: players will get noted for not joining their match after 24 hours of the invitation. 2 Notes will mean a Warning! (Yellow Card)
Warning (Yellow Card)
: A Warning will be given in the following cases: 1. to Freemiums who hadn't the possibility to join their match because they have no open slot, 2. to players who didn't join because they didn't play during the time the invitation & reminders were send. (mostly holidays) & 3. players who deadbeat, but who have written the reason in the game chat before deadbeating. If you have 2 Yellow Cards you will be sent-off with a Red Card (Disqualification).Disqualification (Red Card): Disqualification will occur in the following cases: 1. for players who had the possibilty to join, but did not join their game after a reminder (exceptions under Warning Section) and 2. to players who deadbeated without a reason given before in the game-chat.
Notes, Warnings & Disqualifications will count for all upcoming IMEC's Tournaments![/spoiler]

After all IMEC's National Cup Tournaments (21 Tournaments) have been played, the IMEC's UEFA Champions League will be played.
