I see your point but when CC states that they will offer name changing "in the future" I think that AM has grounds for his request.

I mean what wtf does that mean "in the future" does cc really ever plan on allowing name changes or are they just talking out of their neck when they say that they will offer it at some unknown future date.

Here is what I recommend...

It will take too long to change my name in over 7000 games I have played, so I would just delete the complete record, and leave a note on my profile that I used to be AeroMate and my previous record. Therefore, no hard work for you mods, and everyone will still know who I am.
This shouldnt be too hard to do, I dont necessarily know what it takes. I love this site! I am not going to become a multi to chance being permanently banned... All I want is a fresh start and acquire a new name!

Just because it has said it will be available in the future doesn't mean you can have it before it's available. And I doubt lack will start coding it just because you want it now.

I am not speaking of now, I am speaking for the future, and I will gladly be patient enough to wait for it if you tell me this process is being worked on, and when it is expected to be accomplished. Thank You!

Not going to happen. The problem is, there are two servers; the forums and the game, and they are interlinked. To change it on one would be to break the link, and then to try and change the name in 5,000,000 game logs in games you have participated in would never work. So, cya, don't let the door hit ya in the ass on the way out, etc.

Maybe you shouldn't choose a username if you're going to cry about it later.

Not true. The XML logs show that players are stored by their user_id, which means a namechange won't affect game logs. If the user_id stays the same, and the namechange is implemented, it should be reflected instantly across the entire site.

So, sometime in the future when this feature is available, I will renew my premium and pay all you slackers and hard-workers for this service.
