If your point total was 1, and you lost to a cook with 799 points, the cook would get 0 points for the win. You would get 100 if you won. The formula won't let you drop below 1.
Not entirely true. If 2 players had 19 points each, and played a 1v1 game, the winner would take 20 points from the loser. Lackattack has coded a fail-safe into the system though. No one can ever get below 1 point. Also, if anyone does get to 1 point (which has happened a few times), they generally get banned for intentionally throwing games.

They'll never get to 1 point.
The way the system works, by the time you get below a certain point, it becomes impossible to lose points to anyone but the very lowest scoring players, and any win will give you huge points. There's no way anyone could ever get that low without doing it intentionally.
Yup. And in order for him to lose any more points, he'll need to lose to someone with 200 or fewer points. There are currently 12 people he could lose any points against.
