The winner of the final round will win the tournament. The points will be very useful in the last couple of rounds though as there are so many maps! The person with the most points will get a special mention in the congratulations at the end of the tournament though. Next year the Grand World Marathon 2010 however will be entirely points-based

When I shared this tourney idea with you Tupence it was meant to be all based on points, but I guess we will have to wait til next year.

Round 6 is about to begin! We're now down from 96 players to just 18.

Points will be awarded in the same way as previous rounds: 8, 5, 3, 2, 1, 0
In this round there are 6 games for each group so there are 48 points up for grabs!

Unlike previous rounds, the player who comes 6th in his/her group will automatically be eliminated.
After play-offs, two of the three 4th-place players will go through, and only one of the three 5th-place players will go through.

The top three in each group will automatically go through to the Quarter Finals! Best of luck everyone!
