It's true. I've heard something that people read words as much by the first and last letter than actually reading the word. Don't know how true that is probably not much.

Nope it is true. Did u know that as long as the first letter and the last letter are in the right order, and all the rest have the correct letter mixed in them our brain can read it. It is a rather interesting phenomena would you not say?

Not bad in that you had some lucky things happen to allow you to take advantage of. It is impressive to pull off a win when the chips were that far down. A good team would not have allowed you to come back like that. You didn't give up and I applaud you for that.

PS, Extra points for doing it before the escalating card value got super high.

Well, I had a 5k this morning and the damn people running the race screwed everything up. Well, just the end. I was on my way to running a personal record when a bunch of us get to an intersection with nobody around to tell us which way to go near the end. We all go a direction and it turned out to be wrong of course. Someone had a GPS on and when his watch beeped at the 5k mark he stopped and we all stopped. We knew the finish line was inside the fairgrounds and we were outside the fairgrounds about a half mile past. I didn't even bother going across the finish line because my time would have been way off.

My time at 5k was 20:30 and I was damn happy with that. A 6:36 pace over 3.1 miles. Probably would have been a few seconds quicker if I saw the finish line ahead and had a reason to kick.
