good doodle earth strategy

alright ive been playing doodle earth 1v1 for a long time now. i win a lot more than i lose, once going on a 12 game win streak, but ive been losing a lot lately. i was wondering if any1 could gimme some basic 1v1 strategy for doodle earth. any help would be appreciated.

spend less than you make. conserve units until you are strong enough to strike and kill.

Get good dice, and if it is seq, go first.

The attack(take) but don't advance strategy works well against experienced players. However people who attack and attack and attack using 2-3 armies will always win, they win by shear dumb luck every time. But the world keeps on spinning.

Doodle Earth Corporal49 +151 81 from 160(51%) Well...thats your map rank on it...Its perhaps case in point on how much luck has to do with it.

The map is almost entirely luck based. Certainly there are strategies, but the problem is, that dice negate them.

Building up can work, but not if someone auto attacks with a 4 and kills your 9.

If there is anything good about it, its that going first isnt as critical as the dice themselves, unless there is a bonus, because its just as likely that the player going first will throw a brick, and taking a territory or two doesnt have much impact on the game. Ive seen dice shootouts on them for many rounds, and seen them end on just 2 or 3.

Play it for fun, and dont make mistakes of course, but there isnt much to learn from it...its essentially tic tac toe, with a coin toss at the end to decide the winner.

speaking of luck? Lol, I started a doodle earth 1v1 game once, and i got to take my turn first. i started to examine the map, and i started with all of america!!! i got to deploy 6 troops my first turn! lol
