I was a KISS fan when I was a kid. Destroyer was my favorite 8 track. I used to buy KISS cards. I was born in '71 and my brother was 7 years older than me. So he had a strong influence on my musical taste. I just became a bigger fan of Zeppelin, The Who and Rush. I still have Destroyer on LP but I rarely listen to it.
I've always liked AC/DC.

Well, I appear to have overcome the computer problem - it was one of those nasty programs that pretends to be your friend and offers to clear out all the nasty viruses - at one point it appeared to be from Mocrosoft themselves. All you need to do is buy their virus protection (just give us your credit card details...).
In fact the only intruder is the program giving you the warnings. This time it also gave me all sorts of spurious error messages when I tried to run anything else. Eventually I managed to get rid of it, but it took most of the day.

Sounds like norton Jones.

I remember the first time a buddy of mine played Rush for me. It was way too much musically, I was overwhelmed and didn't like them. I eventually came around to them and they were my favorite band for a long time, they're certainly up there still. I think Alex is under rated due to Geddy and Neil being deservedly elevated so much.

I remember when 'Back in Black' came out, I could tell when they were on the radio but couldn't tell any of the songs apart except 'Dirty Deeds' which in the chorus sounded like "Dum da dee, da da da, dum da dee."

I like Zep fine in the studio but even as a musician their live performances are somewhat annoying because they can't get the songs close. I'll blame their sound man and Jones. Not our Jones but their Jones.

Rush. I've always thought that Rush was very talented and I do like them but i've never really gotten big on Rush. I like AC/DC mostly for their skill performing live and the Bonn Scott era (actually if you listen to one of their songs I can't remember which but the end has the same exact beat as Thunderstruck it's just played on a different note). I like Zep a lot which in a way contradicts one of my other views of them that I don't want to go into detail discussing right now.

Well that will save space on the severs. I imagine those posts would be much like an Angus Young live solo.

If I went through my full opinion on any band that I know well. Than I could easily exceed the limit they put on posts.

No, he's right. Pink Floyed used to be ok (although I'm surprised target has heard of this obscure delicacy from the reclusive "ma" nomads of the Camargue), until they added too many rats to the recipe. Not only did this change the flavour of a delightful dessert to a rather meaty one, it also ruined the delicate pink colouring and made the dish a whole lot more hairy.

Don't know what it's got to do with music though.

Well, when your main food staples are marsh grass, rats, and the occasional passing flamingo, you do well to produce somethign as nice as a pink Floyed.
