i am a freemium here at conquer club and i like to play rt so i can finish games and i hate it when people join a game make one turn and then logs out and doesnt log back in for at least 3 hrs and sometimes they dont log back on and make their turn. So my question to all of the people in conquer club: do you hate it when people dont play rt in your 1v1 games?!?!

Well i agree i enjoy a good RT but I know when its my turn wall spams just anger me
but what really pisses me off is when someone asks for RT but fucks off when they think they lost idiots

sped games are great though if they run away when losing you only have to wait 5 mins

From what I can tell these have largely gone out of style since that advent of speed games. Having said that, back before we had speed, it was annoying when someone would 'deadbeat' the rt. (deadbeat meaning not finish the game that night). Nowadays its hard to find people who want to play these, or who know what they are. I suggest you start adding people to your friend list who play these, and make them private. If someone deadbeats, then you just stop inviting them. Eventually you'll build up a list of people who want to play these and don't want to deadbeat.

Sure, I'll try if i know you're online, but I've usually got about 50 games going at once, so I need to play them as well.
Maybe I only have time to take a turn then leave. (Did you read the sentence on the front page? "You can take your turn in 5 minutes with your morning cup of coffee or in between classes")

Since CC introduced speedgames the demand for real time games has gradually lessened. Might I gently suggest that if you want to play rt you could (no pressure!!!) spend 25 dollars (if you have it..I know these are hard economic times for many people!) and play rt games whenever you want. Further, casual 24 hour games give players the opportunity to take 24 hours over their turn. While you are right to express your opinion here and, let's be fair here, everyone's entitled to give their opinion regardless of how ill-thought out it maybe (not that I'm saying yours was ill-thought out..I meant in general you understand!), your opposition has the right to take 24 hours over their turn.

I tend to do exactly what is described here. I play a fair amount of 1vs1 games, but I often don't have the time, or even the want, to play them real time. If I wanted to play a faster game, I'd probably play Speed Games, but there is a reason why I joined/created a Casual game usually.

Might I just add that while Andy doesn't always want to play them rt, I am sure he totally 'gets' any members desire to do so.

Watch out on the 'confrontational tone' there Andy! (though I am sure it was purely accidental.) Some members might have read you 'or even the want, to play them real time' as an implicit criticism of their enjoyment of casual rt. Your disfavour of the concept makes waves and I know we both want to keep all members here feeling equally validated in their opinions.

What you want are speed games. That requires you to pay for premium. Don't want to? SUCK IT UP COOKIE!

I like 1 vs 1 for many reasons. Sometimes I can play real time, but often not. When I want a real time game, I play a speed game. That option is open to all. You want those of us who pay to accomodate you. That's not how it works.
