Yes indeed, Maradona really has put the weight back on again hasn't he? Great ending, and Messi did well most the match trying to create something but I think he forgot Xavi and Iniesta weren't there to back him up.
I don't think the draw will be on Friday, that seems to early. I though it was normally in around April/May.
United 2-1 Bolton
Another of those "expected win, got one" comments here...
With 2 delightful results to smile about!
Firstly a big well done lads to Sunderland for beating Liverpool 1-0 on the 130th anniversary of Sunderland as a football club, take that you scouse b'stards!!
Secondly another "nice one" to the Villa for inflicting Chelsea's 2nd defeat of the season with a 2-1 win at the park... Wahoo!
In other news, a typically controversial return to Fratton Park for Jermaine Defoe with a goal and a sending off against his old club, I like Defoe and hope he's on the plane to South Africa but guessing Capello doesn't look favourably on players getting sent off!

Yes, a big round of to both results (even though they messed with my fantasy team ).

Defoe goal and sent off, Kranjcar got an assist and KP Boateng got a goal. Ghost of christmas past all around.

Just seen it now, brilliant! Kinda thought there was some kind of rule about foreign objects on field of play but quite happy that it stood. Now looking forward to Rafa moaning on MotD

There is apparently. The refs association has said the goal should not have stood.

Yeah, you'd imagine there would be such a rule. Still...

are you not mentioning your own score Hugh.
anyway the beach ball was from the Liverpool fans, bit like that balloon that Michael Ball booted the ball against in the FA cup v Sheff utd.
St. Johnstone 1 Rangers 2
Boyd, Papac.
not bad coming from a goal down and Sellick only drew with Motherwell. well done flashlegs8's team. top of the league once again.
well considering we were down to 10 men with 25 mins left to play, not too bad. could of had a penalty when SWP was brought down. Tevez ran his bollocks off, Adebayor wasn't on form at all. missed kolo Toure in defence, Lescott is ok, but not as comfortable as Toure.
