Lack has made a business decision that people who are caught using multiple accounts get to buy back in once or twice. After they've used up those chances, they no longer get to come back. On the forum, every warning and temporary ban is a chance to correct the actions of breaking the rules. Once those chances run out, the offender is banned permanently (now only 6 months for minor offenses). As far as the ETROPAL scenario, I believe the 11 multis were considered the first or second time the account was busted, so the next bust will result in a permanent ban. The system doesn't work by how many multis the person has, it relates to how many times they've been busted. In a C&A thread where you see KA type "Player X has been busted with A, B, C, D, and E", that counts as 1 bust because they were all caught at the same time.
i still find it humorous that infractions in the forums where less than 3% of CC ever visit, are treated more harshly than someone breaking the first rule of CC... you can talk yourself blue in the face, it will still not make sense to me. the very people that have helped make this a very unique forum, are the ones that are persecuted and driven away. want to see what a forum that is attempting to be like this looks like? pm me and i can send you a link to a sudoku site that has great threads like, "you know you have played too much speed sudoku when..." multis buying back in is just garbage... serial cheats propogate the boards, and as long as the cash flow continues, it is ok... it sends a poor message to the community, and a laughable consequence to the offenders...-0jbrettlip wrote:So in other words, if you are going to cheat, cheat really fucking big.

Like I said before, I was so pissed off a while back, when I found out that I was being raped by cheaters. All the countless hours of playing this game to gain those silly points. I could not fix the situation, and I tried, believe me. I came to the realization that if I wanted to move up in rank, I would just have to quit playing games other than 1V1's. There are just too many cheaters here, and they ARE encouraged by the "LACK" of a fare and equitable operation here. It really is a shame, as I really do love this game, and I do prefer the multi-player games. But what can you do ? I have been able to move up as high as Col. since adopting the 1V1 style of play. And, since I do not like freestyle or farming noobies, I am afraid that Col. may be my limit on the scoreboard. I will just accept that and let the sLACKing cheaters have their stolen seats on the leaderboard. I believe that if I can make it to page 1, I will be satisfied. i am pissed off krapht! i think we are all pissed off. but our hands are tied. what can we do other than not buy premium again.
i am going to make 1000 multis. and play as many games as i want. if i am caught, i will just buy back in under my assumed name of ronc8649.

this would also reduce friends recruiting friends to the site and teaching them how to play... i joined because my friend was tired of people ruining standard games with irrational play. he wanted a teammate he could talk to before turns and reduce the chances of bad/poor play by others affecting him. if i had to wait to hit a certain rank to play with him, i would probably not be around today, and the mods would be much happier in the forums...-0BigBallinStalin wrote:There's a lot of problems with my suggestion, but maybe this can move the thread along to something more productive.
