Personally, I find that action reprehensible. However, the site seems perfectly content to allow high-ranking players to help each other stay alive "to protect their rank", so I guess if the site thinks it's ok...Vermont wrote:Is it legal to target a player specifically because they have a higher rank than you? In a recent game I had a low ranking player take me out so that the other low ranking player would win. He admitted such in chat, and stated that it was not against the rules.
Even the player who won recognized it was lame, posting this to my wall:
"Thanks for the game green, shame yellow spoilt it, I will enjoy locking swords with you again "
The player who did this probably wonders why higher ranking players never start public speed games.
it doesn't matter if its standard or terminator.. let me give u a scenario.. 3 players left in a standard game, 2 majors and a cook.. so Major 1 knows he cant win the game.. but the cook and other major are pretty much tied, and the game could go either way.. so the losing major cashes his army or whatever and hits the cook.. now look the other major ends up winning.. now instead of losing 50-100 points (if the cook won) he loses 18-22.. pretty big difference...MichelSableheart wrote:I could imagine that being legal play in a terminator game, where the low rank indeed gains from taking out the higher rank, even if he doesn't win the game. In a standard game? Not so much.

Individuals that are so worried about points that they allow it to ruin the integrity of the game should get a life.VampireM wrote: it doesn't matter if its standard or terminator.. let me give u a scenario.. 3 players left in a standard game, 2 majors and a cook.. so Major 1 knows he cant win the game.. but the cook and other major are pretty much tied, and the game could go either way.. so the losing major cashes his army or whatever and hits the cook.. now look the other major ends up winning.. now instead of losing 50-100 points (if the cook won) he loses 18-22.. pretty big difference...
