Seriously I don't like this policy any more than the rest of you, but wondering why multis are allowed to buy back is ridiculous. There is one reason and only one reason why they are allowed to buy back: GREED. Plain and simple GREED is why cheaters are allowed to buy their way back on to the site. Anyone who had trouble figuring this out, or who may still doubt that this is the case really and truly needs to become way more cynical.

So designing a business model and making a profit off it is now called greed? Are people no longer allowed to make money? For those that remember, multis used to be able to buy back as many times as they desired (manimal anyone?), but that was changed due to popular demand (and taking up too many moderator hours). Lack feels that he has a good balance among allowing second chances, keeping the public happy, and making a profit, so why the need to continue to rip on it?

Because people are tired of encountering multi-abusers, and they're tired of the lack of response on the CC-Elites to correct this problem. However, I predict, we'll lose interest or not garner enough support, and you guys get to keep making your money at the expense of fairness for the CC-community. The decision is mainly influenced by the factor of money. And the loss of such funds only to appease us obviously isn't worth it to y'all.

For the record, the $$ we get from buybacks is negligible. The main reason we allow buybacks is to let people have a second chance.
