Soccer Stadium [Idea]

Post by Jarunik »

Hi

Has there ever been a Project for a CC Soccer Map?

When i saw pictures like that the idea just jumped at me:

Image SAMPLE ONLY

My idea was to split up the playfield in more "countries" and reduce the audience spaces compared to the sample picture.

The Goals should yield a lot of bonus and the gameplay should feel a little bit like playing soccer. Therefore the playfield should be bordered to the audience space and only be accessibel through player exchange "countries" which yield a negative bonus.

So there will be fights over the aucience "continents" (fan areas) and fights on the player field (the soccer game).

The Game Concept should be, that the playfield should give 2 seperate bonuses in a way that the 2 strongest players have to play a bit like soccer.

The audience Space should yield less bonus and should be not so important.

What do you think of this idea? Anyone would like to help with the technical and graphical aspects?

Its not a bad idea.

But it needs alot of work. Good luck!

One thing, it should be a bit bigger, and just because its audience, it doesn't mean it has to be less bonus.

I like it, there has been one for football, but whatever you do, do not make it based on an american soccer stadium, U.S.A sports stadiums are small and awful...

what about Nou camp?

Old Trafford

International Stadium Yokohama?

just don't base it on a poxy american ground.

Something you may have to consider is if copyright comes into it. No point putting lots of effort into a map if it gets caught up in copyright and never gets finished.

Thanks for the Feedback.

Doesn't look like there is any real interest in such a map.
