If I were lackattack...

I would be keep an eye on the key forums and topics but stay low key and put out a team of admins as an official presence in the community. I'd similarly avoid joining games and filter incoming PMs to Team CC members. All this because even though I care deeply about our members, my load of day-to-day stuff would otherwise be so huge I'd have no time left for programming, which is what this website really needs.

I would try harder to make public appearances, though.

I would try to program a new feature or significant improvement every month.

I would try to give more resources to various volunteer-run departments, from the foundry to clans, to help them do more to make this website fun for the rest of us.

I think if I was lack, I'd spend at least an hour a day playing the game/on the forums: If lack played freestyle speed, we'd have had 2 minute speed games a LONG time ago.

I don't know about an hour a day, but I absolutely agree with the intent behind this suggestion. I really DO think he's got a bit (a lot) of the ivory tower syndrome going on.

I think this is telling in my different ways.

(1) There are apparently only two groups on CC: a group that would like to play games and discuss in good spirit, and a group that wants to be nasty.
(2) The second group is apparently in the minority and may include, among others, DancingMustard, owenshooter, and b.k. barunt (a/k/a Honibaz).
(3) The first group apparently does not include any people that think "discussing in good spirit" includes the idea of flaming (or, as I am wont to call it, "friendly trash talking").

Man, I haven't been disciplined yet, I hope this one doesn't do it. Believe it or not, I though long about posting this in response.

i would change the medal system, i don;t want to say it is nog good!

After acheiving the gold Assasin medal you drop bakc to silver medal.
After acheiving the gold terminator med you drop back to silver medal.

Here's my explanation:
Acheiving gold assasin medal: a player is dropped back to Silver medal but receives a plaquette called: marksman.
Player acheives second time assasin gold medal he is dropped back to Bronze medal bur recieves the plaquette; Sharpshooter.
Player achieves thrigd time assasin gold medal, player is dropped holds it's gold medal and recieves the plaquette: SNIPER!

i know it is very hard to get the plaquette SNIPER! but that is the whole idea about it, only the best of the best get it!
the same should be done with Terminator but then with th plaquettes calle(for example)

-serial killer
