Who runs the best Mafia games?

I have never played but I am curious as to who do you think runs the best games?

I think you'll get almost as many answers as people answering tbh.

/ has modded some good ones including the lovely Hallowen RT last year (is there a re-run coming this year? ).
PCMs insomniac game is probably the best one I've played here though.

I liked GT's games before he started abandoning them, imagine doing that!

His overcomplex roles just get you intrested in the game.

Godfather was awesome modded by nag, and there are many more good ones though sadly few are active.

Aimless was my fave to play in and was used as my inspiration in several of my games although I added my own touches to the games.

Questions like this are just hard to answer. In the past there were quite a few awesome games that I enjoyed playing in: Dead Poets Society, Deadwood, The Simpsons, Civil War, Asylum. Sadly though most the peeps who modded those don't do a lot of big ones anymore. LSU, nag, and GT(When real life isn't pulling him away) are probably the only ones left who mod such large involved games occasionally. Others try and would probably succeed, but never ending days/nights, lack of prods, lack of participation can end up killing it before it really gets going.

I haven't been around long enough to have played in a lot of the great games, back in the prime of the mafia community, but I really liked natewolfman's war of triple cult, it was a good setup. If he hadn't abandoned the few games he was running, he would be my favorite.

From the golden age of CC Mafia, Aimless. After that, it kinda got messy. Although I am glad I'm getting a lot of support for my games. Thanks to those who picked me.

Aimless is the Uberking of modding, Tal (despite being my achnemesis ) (the dumbest thing I did in my Mafia career on CC had been missing out on the start of Batman Mafia. Thanks for letting me replace. ), Nag (I'll always love you for Godfather.) Back in the times before the old times, AK Iceman modded the fantastic Bizzarro Mafia.



Speaking of which, hasn't the time come to drop our collective tough-guy act and hire a private investigator to track down Aimless? If there's anyone who can revive CC Mafia to it's former glory, it's him.
