This player has a history of this kind of stuff. I went to look but could not see his chat. That is the beauty part of FOE.

But as long as something isn't bigoted or racist or just endless it won't be warned or stopped.

Kugelfang has a point. At the very least averageguy needs to be warned about such abuse. CC takes a liberal stance on game chat, yada yada, but this player bends the liberal line. Close to snapping it. Whether or not Kugel's mom failed to finish a task, Averageguy should not tell Kugel this. Finally, averageguy needs to be aware that such comments are public.

There are rules about conduct in game-chat unless you are either the Conqueror or a former Conqueror. They have no rules.

My question is: How liberal can CC be? When is it enough? Assaulting someone mother, is that against the rules or not? If not, cc can't complain if the assaults on for example family members continues, it's gonna be a part of the game, and it will always be, just because cc moderators didn't draw the line from the beginning.. I think, as I said, avarageguy should be banned, to show once and for that this such thing in game chat isn't accepted!

Game chat is a more private forum of communication and during game you will have and should expect some smack talk. As long as it isn't bigoted racist crap there really isn't a problem with telling an adversary to lick your nut sack and stuff like that. IMO

I do not support attacks against ones mother and you wont see much of my chat that straddles anything like that nor have i ever told anyone to lick my sack But it is to be expected from some of the colorful players. i dont troll other peoples games i just look at what they are doing on the map and i scroll down a little to see the game chat. i never comment in a game im not involved in.
