I have to agree with ha3ha and if you think esc isnt strategic now, maybe you should have a look at the strategy you usehahaha3hahaha wrote:This is dumb. It would wreck 8 man esc gamesTHORNHEART wrote:Hide the amount of cards a player has at any given time in the game.
This will make game play much more strategic.

Actually, data mining (reading through the log) would give you the same information anyway. So you'd basically just be handicapping the people that didn't want to waste their time scrolling through the log for every turn.THORNHEART wrote:Hide the amount of cards a player has at any given time in the game. Most games come down to cards...Why should all the players be able to see how many cards you have? This is especially true in fog of war games (I recently knew when to make a kill based on how many cards my opponent had) I think it would make the game so much more realistic and fun if you couldn't see how many cards another player had. It would add a whole new twist on the "waiting to cash deal"
Now yes obviously some douches are gonna say that you will be able to go back and track manually through attacks how many each players has but lets be realistic players will seldom have time or the commitment to do so...if they do props to them...it would make them work for it atleast.
I think cards should be hidden...Especially in FOG games.

Perhaps if you want anyone to take your suggestions seriously you should refrain from trouncing on the logical statements people are making and referring to them as "douches". Scrolling through a log does not take that long as all you need to do is see if the person took a territory on a given turn or not. It wouldn't be people with 'time or commitment' it would be anyone who actually uses strategy in their playing of a game with cards involved.THORNHEART wrote:Now yes obviously some douches are gonna say that you will be able to go back and track manually through attacks how many each players has but lets be realistic players will seldom have time or the commitment to do so...if they do props to them...it would make them work for it atleast.

Ah, so since your argument has fallen apart, you resort to name-calling. I guess you don't have much going for you, do you?THORNHEART wrote:Now yes obviously some douches are gonna say that you will be able to go back and track manually through attacks how many each players has but lets be realistic players will seldom have time or the commitment to do so...if they do props to them...it would make them work for it atleast.
