Yeah it would be nice if Childress can figure out how to get into 2nd gear.

The Cards are definitely one of the most entertaining teams to watch.

Week 14
Pittsburgh @ Cleveland
New Orleans @ Atlanta
Detroit @ Baltimore . . . no upset even close here
Green Bay @ Chicago
Seattle @ Houston
Denver @ Indianapolis
Miami @ Jacksonville
Buffalo @ Kansas City
Cincinnati @ Minnesota
Carolina @ New England
New York Jets @ Tampa Bay
St.Louis @ Tennessee
Washington @ Oakland
San Diego @ Dallas
Philadelphia @ New York Giants
Arizona @ San Francisco . . . OUCH! Seven turnovers ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

9-7 . . . 138-71 overall

Baltimore is struggling lately, but even I can't pick the Lions, even though I'm rooting for them.

I can't say that I'm confident the Cowboys will end the Chargers 8 game win streak,
so let's just call it wishful thinking.

Cleveland sacked Rothlisberger eight times last night while upsetting the Steelers,
so anything is possible.

Well, at any rate, today should be very interesting for the NFC East. With the Giants, Eagles, and Cowboys so closely packed together, today could produce some interesting shifts in the standings.

I don't want to be overconfident about my Jets, but if they don't beat the Buccaneers today, there is no hope for the continuance of the human race. The Patriots need to implode like the Steelers have been because Carolina shouldn't be too much of a problem for them, and those pesky Dolphins look to be facing off against a pretty evenly matched team, so there's hope they'll lose and bump the Jets up to solidly being in 2nd place.

That Cincinnati/ Minnesota game should be a good one.

Some great games today... the Vikings and Pats have both been in close games
but only been outplayed once by opponents in their loses.

The Cowboys have a tough road ahead to keep up with the Eagles
and make their final game count for something.

The Vikings will have issues in the playoffs depending who they will play. Cinncinnati was very giving with the penalties.

Sweet! We need to run the table now. A Pats loss or two would be awesome too!

NFL WEEK 15

Post by oVo »

The Cowboys have New Orleans, Washington and Philadelphia remaining,
if they survive this gauntlet they will be playoff worthy.

For a few teams now on the bubble the playoffs begin this week.

Colts @ Jags
Cowboys @ Saints =D> Dallas keeps playoff hopes alive with this upset.
Bears @ Ravens
Pats @ Bills
Cards @ Lions . . . Zona wins the NFC West
Texans @ Rams
Dolphins @ Titans =D> in OT and 7-7 Tennessee is still in the Wild Card hunt.
Browns @ Chiefs
Falcons @ Jets . . . Boo hoo, that was just sad.
Niners @ Eagles . . . a SF turns over their season to Philly, who clinches a playoff spot.
Raiders @ Broncos
Bengals @ Chargers . . . 27-24
Packers @ Steelers . . . Rothesburger tosses 500+ yds and Pittsburgh wins with a TD on the final play of the game 37-36
Bucs @ Seahawks
Vikings @ Panthers
Giants @ Skins . . . upset? Hahaha... the skins defense didn't even show up for this game.

8-8 this week . . . 146-79 overall

Colts remain perfect in a game with very little defense before the 4th quarter. However I guess the biggest news of the dy would be the death of Chris Henry. Horrible news really. I've never been good with words in this kind of situation, so I'll just wish his family good health for the future.

Damn, didn't hear about the Henry news until now. Hope the best for his friends and family.

And on a less important note, the Broncos better crush the Raiders. A loss here would put a lot of s*** in question

If Romo doesn't get it done against the Saints this weekend, he'll never hear the end of it here with the Dallas press. If the Cowboys do break the Saints streak then it will be redemption, and everyone will be falling over themselves to prop him up as one of the greats. That's how it goes here.

Romo has been playing well... their problems have been elsewhere
and one of those problems is letting the close ones slip away.

It would be a big boost if Nick Folk could get his confidence back
and start booting the ball through the uprights again.

Romo always chokes in December. Like A-Rod usually does in the post season.

Nah... it's a team game, so it's a unified choking and not just the quarterback.
This being his 3rd season as a starter Tony will see better days.

Well, Mark Sanchez is starting today, and now that I've finished digging out my car, I've turned on the game in time to see the Jets go three and out.

Great.

Oh cool, and Sanchez threw an interception in their first possession. I sure am glad I skipped back on the DVR to see what I missed...

Sanchez sucks.

But so does Collins.

They should start Brad Smith.

Sanchez does not suck, he's just young, and he's back after having been hurt. I'll allow him this season before I start hating on him completely.

By the way, Sanchez just got a passing TD, so...
