Florida vs Bama & Texas vs Huskers
-Wow the thing is we have, as stated earlier, had a lot tougher schedule than Texas. UTEP? Wyoming? LA-Monroe? Colorado?Missouri? OSU? Central Florida? Baylor? Kansas? Comeon play some REAL teams.
- Bama barely beat the Vols with not 1 but 2 blocked field goals.
P.S. The Vols went 7-5 this season and were never ranked -Doesn't matter. Two blocks is enough. What about the Nebraska game eh?
- Bama got some bogus calls to help win the LSU game.-TOTAL BS. The evidence in video has to be inconclusive and that was absilutly debatable. Also LSU would still of had to score AGAIN
- Bama escaped barely against Auburn due to the last drive of the game where Auburn held the greatest player in 09 (Ingram) to 30 yds and no TD's.
P.S. The Tigers went 7-5 this season
Texas had 2 games all season that were won by less then 10 points.
1 being a Conference Championship game against a 9-3 Nebraska team and 1 being against Oklahoma.

Utah was one of the best teams in the country last year, but the WAC as a conference can't be comparedmuy_thaiguy wrote:That's what I, the general consesnus of the MWC fans, and the general consesnus of the WAC fans believe. I don't know. Usually, a defense needs to actually do it's job. FSU may score a lot of points, so do nearly all the other teams they play. Also, even their own head coach has admitted that mobile QBs are a main weakness for their defense, which Wyoming just so happens to have in Austyn Carta-Samuels.The Cowboys defense may keep them in this game for awhile, but the lack of offense will seal their fate.
Yeah. A popular saying that is now coming up is that the Cowboys are becoming Cowboy tough again.oVo wrote:Well that's a big key right there, if Wyoming can generate some offense
they should be able to make a game of it. I don't doubt the Cowboys on
defense, it's time of possession and generating points on offense that
might be too much to overcome.
I'll be rooting for 'em, I love a hard fighting underdog and Wyoming has
faced some better teams than FSU this year and hung tough.

yeah I saw it afterwards, but didnt know who had made it... i will join that one as well..TheMissionary wrote:I had one already posted earlier, still join yours though

Man, the Air Force Academy doesn't get any respect any more...oVo wrote:Boise State joining the MWC and playing the likes of TCU, Utah, BYU... and of course Wyoming
would be beneficial to the credibility of the Conference.
Actually, it is pretty much the only school that isn't really ripped on in the conference.Woodruff wrote:Man, the Air Force Academy doesn't get any respect any more...oVo wrote:Boise State joining the MWC and playing the likes of TCU, Utah, BYU... and of course Wyoming

I'm hoping that the MWC does hold together, and I want it to. However, I have seen fans and read some articles that show that Utah, BYU, and TCU if offered before the MWC becomes AQ, might just leave. Speculation for now, and I am hoping the PAC 10 does not officially expand for another couple of years, as they are the only actual threat to breaking up the MWC, and in a few years, the MWC will most likely be AQ.Optimus Prime wrote:I find it difficult to believe that any of the Mountain West schools are going to leave for another conference. They are currently sitting pretty right where they are and are in prime position to gain a BCS automatic-qualifier status (which I do believe will happen). To leave for other conferences would do nothing but be to take bigger steps backward than it's worth.
Look for Boise State to join the MWC by 2012 in order for the MWC to get it's auto-qualifier status.
I would NOT worry about it in the slightest. There's been this sort of talk for Big Twelve teams since we were back in the Big Eight days (Colorado to the PacTen and Missouri to the BigTen). Frankly, both of those conferences are far too uppity for it to happen.muy_thaiguy wrote:Actually, it is pretty much the only school that isn't really ripped on in the conference.Woodruff wrote:Man, the Air Force Academy doesn't get any respect any more...oVo wrote:Boise State joining the MWC and playing the likes of TCU, Utah, BYU... and of course Wyoming

And I don't see BSU becoming a MWC school until 2012 as BSU and Wyoming have OOC games against eachother next year and I believe 2011.
