did you contact the mods/site prior to creating a multi account asking for help or did we simply put no effort into it and just create a second account knowing the rules ahead of time ( since you were a member in the past and its posted on the home page ) and scream when we got busted ?

I dont see anything in the rules stating if there is a lapse in time than its not a multi account. What I do see on the home page is a little box you must check while signing up indicating you will not create a 2nd account and that routine checks are made.

How was he to know he had an account if he didn't remember the site? Maybe he even changed his email address in that time too?

I've played hundreds of online games over the course of the past 10 years. I can barely remember 1% of them. And my email address has changed 3 times in 4 years.

I personally feel this is rather ridiculous. Multi-account maybe but do you really think that someone who left after 5 games would really think that CC would care about it?

Lets say I made an account the day the site was made played 2 games then left. 3 Years later joined. NOBODY would do anything about it. The real reason Amazed got busted is because he knew how the site worked. I think this is unfair to him.

EDIT: Also note that I played on some shitty site back in 2005, I went back in '08 and realised that it was still shitty. If that was CC and I actually decided that I wanted to stay this time I would not think "OH NO I'VE GOT TWO ACCOUNTS" more along the lines of "Ah, I remember this site"

While I agree, if you look at the time stamp where he admitted to it... it's after the post where he denied it. It's more than possible that he remembered something while being questioned about having an account before.

A while backI made other accounts for friends that came over, we played each other on it. They were benned, oh well.
The list is long, here it is:

However, hasn't there been a bunch of cases lately of people who had an account back when and then came back and made another? maybe if CC added one line to the multi checkbox like:

"if you previously have made an account with CC you are required to check with the administrators, even if you are not using this account. Failure will constitute banning."

That way there is no confusion and less of these reports. Everyone makes multiple logins on internet sites when they forget an old one....

You obviously remember *some* of the accounts you created back then, so could have used that to write an eticket to identify what your old account was, or if you could legally buy back to another account if all those old ones were banned, and you chose not to.

What you chose, instead, was to cheat and multi: Making a bunch of accounts is a violation of the rules, thus, cheating. Your friends could have made their own accounts, which only they logged onto, and it would not be cheating. Then you came on in a new account, knowing you had old ones. That's being a multi.

Maybe next time you leave for a time and want to return, you'll remember to send an eticket first.
