Is there a reason this recent set included No Cards and Flat Rate? The rules clearly say the games will be escalating.

This tournament is already long enough, and I would prefer to not get any more year+ build games going (which a few from the last set are already looking to be).

So you know, I will not be joining anymore No Card or Flat Rate games that are sent for this tournament.

edit: I see the rules say there will be random batches... which I guess this set classified as. So yea... Feel free to make those games, but I wouldn't recommend including me on this list then.

On normal Batches, all games will be Escalating. However, I like the settings no spoils on the maps their on. Also there are no flat rate games, I think If so, it was a mistake. Also if the no spoil games go too long, I have planed to put a cap on them.

While that's fine and dandy, it doesn't get me out of that game.

I just took a look, and I counted at least 3 no spoils games from this last batch (that I'm in), that there are very little attacks being made, nor will there be many attacks for quite a few months.

I'm just tired of playing in games that only end when someone gets tired around round 100 and suicides into someone else. I'm trying to keep my game load down and having games that go on endlessly will screw me in the long run. And honestly? I'd rather just not join the games in this tournament even if it hurts my ability to win the tournament than play in any more. If you want to keep using them, please do. But count on one spot less because I have no interest in joining them any more.

edit: I'm probably just overreacting, but I despise No Spoils in "regular" maps with multiple opponents. It just isn't fun (and not what I expected by signing up in this tournament). I'm most concerned with my game load unnecessarily increasing due to some games refusing to finish.

I must agree with Bones that we should keep this an escalating tournament, as that is what people signed up for. Just my $0.02.

I'm sorry, Ricco. I never meant to imply that I didn't want to be in the tournament. This has been great so far and I really love the "fun" aspects that you put into it. I've come too far to quit now!

I only was trying to say that I don't want to participate in Flat Rate games if they are made. Was just trying to save you the hassle of creating a game and having me not join
