It might be a good use for that map. Perhaps the map was ahead of its time. With the map, 'opponent blocking' seems rather feasible.

I played the Circus Maximus map only once (and eventually won) and vowed never to play it again. I have to agree that Assassin game play might make me rethink that decision...
Now can anybody come up with a method of game play that will make me want to play the Crossword map again?

it might, but it's not that bad of a map, crossword is.

Still would not choose to play the circus map even with assassin, same with crossword.
