Quickfire Challenge: Every player will play 1 assassin game of a random map each round. The number of players will vary based on the number of players left in the tournament hovering somewhere around 4-6, occasionally 7 or 8, players per game. The Quickfire Challenge will take place at the same time as the elimination challenge. Players that win these games cannot be eliminated that round. Quickfires will until last the final round.
Elimination Challenge: The Elimination Challenge will consist of multiple games (3-12 but mostly 3-7) on random maps. Different settings will be used each round and a different number of players will be eliminated each round. I will pm the players and post in the thread before the round begins the specifics of each round. You could have 1v1 games against multiple players, face 8-player terminator games, or play triples, etc. Just like Top Chef, you won’t know what you are about to do until right before you do it.
If you or your team WIN (not tie for the win) an elimination challenge, you will receive a reward – the next time you are about to be eliminated from a tournament you will be allowed to continue. This immunity will last until the final round or when it is used.
Final Challenge: When there are four players left in the tournament, players will be able to cook their specialty 3-course meal. Each player will choose 3 different maps and any settings to play on with his opponents. They will play all 12 games and the twist – 4 additional random standard games with the settings ASECS, MSECF, ASFUS, and AFFCF. The scoring will be 5 stars for the winner, 3 stars for the runner up, 1 star for 3rd place, and 0 stars for the loser. The player with the most stars at the end, wins the tournament!
There will be upwards of 8 rounds so don’t join unless you will be dedicated to the tournament.
All settings are allowed and are likely to occur in the Quickfire and Elimination Challenges. In the final challenge, players may choose whatever settings they like.
For an example as to how this will play out, here's the first tournament thread: viewtopic.php?f=92&t=89666
As far as the tournament is concerned, games end at the end of round 25. In the pm and post with the instructions for each round, I will outline the point distribution.
Join within 72 hours of receiving your games! I will send 1 warning pm. Sorry freemiums, too many games will be played at once.
The Quickfire Challenge: One 5-player assassin (sequential, manual, nuclear, unlimited, foggy) game. Remember if a player wins this, he will not be eliminated even if he fails the elimination challenge.

[spoiler=round 6 rules]The Quickfire Challenge: One 6-player assassin (sequential, automatic, no spoils, chained, sunny) game. Remember if a player wins this, he will not be eliminated even if he fails the elimination challenge.
