What are points for?
It may sound stupid, but I don't see what they're used for. I searched the forums but also came across posts dealing with fishing for points by playing newbies. Is there a ladder or a top-100 where points are taken into account?

Points are used for the site wide rankings. you can see a list of all players and where they are ranked by clicking the Scoreboard link in the top menu ....
