Kentucky really blew it. The fumble may have been the nail in the coffin but burning 2 timeouts in the 3rd and then wasting your last with 5:20 left? Recipe for disaster. It looked like Clemson ws going to win anyways but Kentucky just made it a bit easier for them.

Georgia 17
144 total yards and 5 first downs, Cox 11/18 for 110 yards & 1 int
3rd Quarter

Looking at stats, you would think it would be lopsided. Looking at the score, it seems A&M can move down the field, but like Utah earlier this year, they seem to be having trouble in the redzone, yes?

It was even more lopsided until the Bulldogs third quarter drive to regain the lead with a FG. Then again a kickoff return TD and playing on a short field can make up for a lot. One TD drive one play 2 yards, one 24 yards in 3 plays and now 28 yards in 6 plays. Add a 71 yard and a 65 yard TD drive totally on the ground and the stats will begin to even up a bit... although there is no catching up to 30 unanswered second half points.

Georgia 44 Texas A&M 20 FINAL

A&M needed Jarrod Johnson to have a game like he did against rival Texas,
meanwhile Joe Cox has 2 TD tosses in the second half.

That's a stunning development. And with Craig James' son too...you'd think you'd be far more careful with a sportscaster's kid? At any rate, I'm very curious to hear what REALLY happened.

No though stats are deceiving. It was really an ugly first half for Georgia. they pulled it together I guess about 5-7 minutes into the 3rd.

Well the first half wasn't very pretty for either tem. there was some good defense eclipsed by the prevailing lack of offense when needed. The second hlf ws better for Georgia, but A&M fded.

I know the Bulldogs were running the ball in the fourth quarter to burn up some clock and give A&M less time to mount any kind of comeback. Instead of consuming a lot of time it became two very impressive scoring drives as Georgia's offense just took over and ran right through them for two more touchdowns.

The Independence Bowl is now switching up their Bowl tie-ins next year, with MWC #3 vs ACC #7.

Though, that may be the WAC's only Bowl win this season, as I think BSU is the only one left, aren't they? And BSU has to go up against TCU.

Nebraska played their best gme all year (yes better than they played aginst Texas) and made their game look like a complete mismatch. If they can find ways to replce some of their key seniors, I woould not be surprised at all to see Nebraska finish in the top 10 next year.

Nebraska's defense won't change next year. Unfortunately, neither will our quarterback situation (Zach Lee is NOT the answer).

Watching Nebraska play I've always thought their defense made them one of the toughest match ups in college football this year and just a few key positions from being genuinely great. They managed to lose 4 games and three of those loses were against bowl bound teams by a combined total of 4 points...
so they were very close to being on Top of it all this year.

Arizona has scored a lot of points and beaten some good teams
before the Huskers handed them this Holiday Bowl goose egg.

Judging from what I saw, your offense seemed to be improving.

Well, today's matchup is the Flyboys (AFA) vs the Coogs (Houston) at the Armed Forces Bowl in Ft. Worth Texas (which happens to be the hometown of TCU).

The Falcons are off to a fast start with two touchdown drives of 60+ yards on their opening possessions and three pics of Case Keenum. Air Force 24-6 at the half, it's now a final 47-20.
